I loved seeing that. Our first visual acknowledgement of the 1999 event.

Also, I'm not sure if this line of dialogue was there the first time around, but Arikado says, "Death desires his master's resurrection, more than the master himself." I've always felt that was true of Dracula post-SOTN, and it's good to see that get a nod.

That was cool to listen to. My only complaint was the lack of the beginning part of the tune. We only hear that segment once.

I was just posting this to Discord, I want to know if this intro was included in the previous release of the game as well.

I loved seeing a visual of 1999, sealing Dracula in the solar eclipse. Looks amazing!

Edit: this is the first 20 minutes of the game https://youtu.be/cs0Yv_XXCTg

What's up folks?  I've recently got a really good recording tone and decided to give Beginning another go.  If anyone is interested, here's the link;

So, definitely not a weapon you'd see frequently (or even uncommonly) used, but I think we can call the Vampire Killer at least "Plausible" in ye olde Mythbusters parlance, and it would probably be a truly DEVASTATING weapon in the hands of someone who was well trained with it. The sheer skill, strength, dexterity, and technique required to use this thing effectively would probably contribute to the Belmont's legend in-universe all on its own, and the rarity of such a weapon would make a Belmont really stand apart from the crowd as soon as they pulled it out.

Congrats on getting funded!

Thanks! We also just reached our stretch goal as well, so that means we unlock the CASTLE TREASURY level!

There are only 16 hours left in the campaign! Thanks again to everyone who made the pledge. We will continue the tradition together, as a community.

Neat! The whip in the first video works much better than I would have thought.

So yeah, if a mofo uses a chain whip in real combat, that there is a badass.

Thanks! That answers that. Although besides the slime there's another image that's still unknown. Is there another DQ element that'll fit there?

This is definitely just Dragon Quest X. The first silhouette matches the shape of the art for the ogre class very closely. No Belmonts here I'm afraid.

I don't see how something that looks like a brown tear-shape is a reference to a Belmont, nor can I see how that blue thing at the same time is a reference to the Slimes. Plus, the use of the Meteor doesn't have to mean FFVIIR, it could just mean FFVII in general.
