SotN File Size Differences

Does anyone know what the following files inside the SotN disc do? I was playing around with a European, American and Asian version and they have different sizes. Maybe someone who hacked or analysed the disc can tell us more.

Folder ST\NZ0, filename NZ0.bin
EUR: 309.256 bytes
USA: 309.120 bytes
ASI: 309.128 bytes

Not much difference here but the next one seems to have a strange difference between the EUR/USA and the ASI version, is this related to the "Name Selection Screen"??

Folder ST\SEL, filename SEL.BIN
EUR: 355.368 bytes
USA: 355.112 bytes
ASI: 360.620 bytes

for those who wouldn't know, the Asian version is an official sotn which is NTSC-J but contains the English ROM.

cheers

I know for sure that this archive (sel.bin) is the name select, I know it because that guy that created the map editor (now its only a viewer, we need to wait more) said that. If you find another archive with differences, I think it can be because of the japanese letters, but its only a guess.

The thing that I really wanted to see that final with Maria transformatio that they never made, I think that this will happen when you already have the holy glasses but try to kill Richter.

Thanks for the information. I left out the Japanese version because of the different characters used, so I'm only using English-based versions. I wonder what those extra 5KB are for, since there's not Japanese in the Asian version.

I think that only Esco or Gemini knows that since they messed with SOTN before, but maybe some other hackers here can find out what is it too,

I honestly have no clue, but I bet it's nothing worth even investigating. It's just some unimportant menu.
