How did Morris and Lecarde manage to sneak into all those European countries - undetected - during WW1?

Probably not undetected.... But who would want to try to stop a somersaulting spaniard with green hair and a spear that is on fire...

They used up all their Stopwatches to sneak by unseen. That's why Bloodlines doesn't have the Stopwatch as a subweapon.

I'm not very familiar with WW1 history but I think there were some areas that can be traversed without detection.
Plus they have magic stuff.

I just always wondered how they avoided the draft  ;D
But eh, have magic will travel I guess. With the war going on I imagine it wouldn't be impossible for two determined and resourceful men to slip in and out undetected when they needed to.

John Morris could easily avoid entering the war since America was neutral during that time...until the SS Lusitania was torpedoed that is. Spain was also neutral throughout the war so Eric would not need to worry about being drafted either.

If they were affiliated with the Church, as the Belmonts were, then they would have special clearance most likely.

Also we need to account all these monsters, if a someone appears trying to destroy them it would be a good thing right? Even more in a war.

They were inside paintings, not the actual places

That's Jonathan and Charlotte, not John and Eric.

Then again, that does bring up a question: how'd Jonathan not get drafted?

That I'm wondering about myself. America--like before in WW 1--did not enter the war right away. It took the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor to really light the match under them (at least I think that's the case). And since PoR takes place three years after the fact then Jonathan should have already been drafted into service. But I'm unclear if entering military service was mandatory during WW 2. I know it was such during Vietnam.

Jonathan was 18 when PoR happened so, 3 years before makes him 15. That makes him too young to be drafted.
Besides, he can always stay hidden and off the radar.
