I used to HAAAAATE beer.  I actually have a story about this, which I will share now:

I was vacationing down in South America to see some relatives and unwind for a few weeks.
When we got there, there was a water shortage due to the extreme weather season.  As a result, water was rationed to some periods throughout the day, and people were encouraged to bottle up whatever they'd get during that time.  Anyway, my family was having a major party that night at a relatives' house on their terrace.  However, because there were 40+ people there, the water became quite short.

All they had was a beer in a green bottle similar to a Heineken, only it was South American, just called "Club".  Because it was the only drink that was Ice Cold, and because the humidity and temperature were quite high that day, I had no choice but to drink it, despite my previous hatred of beer (I didn't used to like it because of the bitter taste and because the smell was odd).

It was the best feeling... a nice cold beer on a hot day.
The closest to that feeling, in the USA, is when I have a Heineken on a hot day in New York.... which I had today. ;)

Cool story bro, no really, I mean it.  8)

Heineken gets a rep in the states for being for women and d-bags IIRC. Just saiyan...

I haven't had, so I wouldn't know.
Reluctant fighting game, Mega Man/X, Dragon Quest, and Castlevania lifelong fan.

What do I do with all these Belmonts?

I mostly stick to mixed drinks anymore, since they're not filling and it makes it easier for me to still get 5 meals in for the day (for weightlifting, not because I'm a glutton or anything lolz). Tanqueray and 7-up is probably my favorite, those are awesome. I like Johnnie Walker either neat (and ice cold) or with with lemon juice.

I still like quite a few beers, though. Boulevard Wheat is made here, and it's awesome, especially with lemon, but it makes hangovers pretty terrible. I've mostly been drinking Rolling Rock lately. Pilsner Urquell (if you can get some bottles that aren't skunked) and Warsteiner are a few other favorites, too.

I've really slowed down on alcohol the past several years, though. My girlfriend and I hardly go out anymore, so whenever we drink, it's usually because we're playing a co-op game like Borderlands or something. Because we're sad like that.  :-\
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

Not in my area, that I know of.
In my area, a 'chick beer', is a Blue Moon.  Heineken is too 'filling' and has a stronger taste, so I've not seen many women with it.  I like Blue Moon but I find it too acidic for my tastes.
I stay away from Budweiser, Coors, and my personal love-to-hate beer, "Pabst Blue Ribbon".  They taste watered down.
I don't like the way Corona tastes, but the lime does improve things.

I always make fun of my friends for drinking Weihenstephan which is probably quite a good beer, but I have developed quite a strong prejudice that bright beers are unworthy of men and therefore prefer dark/brown beers. I don't like Guinness, though. It's all bitter and I prefer beer which are more sour in taste.

My top 3 beers are Blue Moon (with orange, as stated before), George Killian's Irish Red, and anything by Guinness. That stuff's ace.

Bitburger can go die in a fire though. Only beer I've ever had that actually TASTED LIKE DIRT.

Also, my town has a meadery. I've yet to try their products though, as mead is a lot more expensive than beer. BUT I WANT TO.

How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Killian's Irish Red is pretty good.
I haven't gone into Mead territory but we have some in my area as well.
Someday, though.

I couldnt give a specific brand name since I dont really drink beer too often. I do like Heineken, and other times Ive had beer it has been at a bar or pub or something.

I'm honestly more of a Wine fellow.

I remember trying a beer at a pub in Manhattan, (Lillie's Victorian Establishment- try it, it's a great place, with awesome food, and an awesome-er aesthetic) it was their home brew, and it was real good. Light beer, but tasty. Like, it had honey or something mixed in to give it the slightest of backtaste to it.

I usually prefer darker beers myself, since you tend to limit yourself a bit more since the flavor is stronger. (That's just me anyway) Fun story actually-

When I was visiting my family in Argentina, the first thing my brothers did was take me to a local pub, where we had some beers along with a bite to eat. Later I stayed with each brother individually, (one lived in Buenos Aires but the other in the Patagonian region) and the one likes dark beer. So when we ate out, we would have dark beer. At least 1 cup each. But eventually, we went to a local bar which didnt have any dark beer, so we had regular instead with some french fries. Since it was light, and I had grown accustomed to the darker flavor, yknow, we were talking, eating salty fries, etc etc, so we didnt pay attention to our drinks and in the end when we stood up, me and my sister in law got SO dizzy, where we realized, "oops. Should've payed more attention to how many cups we had!"

Blue Moon (tasted like fruit loops, or am I thinking of Shock Top?)
Red Hook
Mack & Jack's
Scuttlebutt
Kona Wailua
Kona, um, ... Whatever, it's the one with coffee in it

I tried Rogue's chocolate beer. Didn't much care for it.
The blueberry beer is Wild Blue. I didn't like it, too sweet. Definitely fortified with wine.

If I just want to get hammered, I"ll drink piss beer like Bud, Coors, Miller, Corona, Pabst or Camo. I'll mix that shit with Coca-Cola sometimes just to make it drinkable, they're such crappy beers. But if I want to actually enjoy my beer, it's worth spending $3 more for a micro. Although I'm not too sure about spending $5 to $15 on a single bottle outside of a bar.

Oddly enough with me being Irish, I don't like most stouts, especially Guinness - there is however a brewery out of Dungarvan, near Waterford in Ireland which produces some excellent stout called Black Rock Irish Stout. They also do Copper Coast Red Ale which is great.

I mostly prefer British ale: different flavours and nuances in a lot of them that you don't get in the stock beers like Carlsberg, Coors etc. Some good ones from Kent in England are Hobgoblin, Bishops Finger and Spitfire.

I had a thing for German Weissbeir for a while, but it is very sweet and also incredibly fattening stuff. Franziskaner is very nice stuff if you can afford the extra weight.
If a man chooses, and a slave obeys, then what are you if you choose to obey?

My favorite is Spotted Cow.  It's made by New Glarus Brewing in Wisconsin, and it's delicious.  I don't think it's available outside the midwest USA, but I could be wrong.  It's a fantastic ale with just the right amount of aftertaste.  Usually goes for about $8 for a six-pack.

Heineken and Carlsberg are average beer in my country. Can find them anywhere. Especially Carlsberg, which is the most popular beer, produced locally and I never drink it.
I once went to a pub and asked the waitress "do you have anything special"? And she said, "well, we have Kilkenny."
And I was all like, no shit, there's a beer called kill Kenny?
Apperently, there is, and it's very similar to Guinness.

I don't fuck around when it comes to alcohol. My preferred rum is Sailor Jerry which is 92 proof. I don't accept any rum of lesser proof.

For beer, I prefer Guinness or anything reasonably similar.

If you want me in a good mood give me a proper Irish Car-bomb or a pint of Guinness with a double shot of Bailey's for a sipping chaser.

I honestly don't drink alcohol that much. Granted, I only turned 21 in February, so I haven't had the luxury of being able to drink for long. My first drink was actually before 21, I was 18. That was because I was in Europe on a school trip at the restaurant in the Eiffel Tower. I honestly did not like the wine.

I also haven't tried very many alcoholic beverages. I've only had wine coolers, wine, and vodka. Wine coolers (or I guess they are called malts sometimes?) are good since they are like sodas with a tiny bit of alcohol. Like I said, I don't really care for wine very much. I only really like a kind called Red Reggae.

Now Vodka. I love Vodka. I haven't had any bad Vodka. I'm sure there is some out there, but yeah. All the kinds I've tried have been awesome. Birthday cake, chocolate, butterscotch, and strawberry. All good.  ;)
