Due to strong flow of requests, have to upgrade some of the minimap indications in order to not let newcomers get confused.

It's very hard to not let any community's additions look out of place compared to vanilla game's structure but I have strong belief I am on the correct track.

I'm guessing by ReVamped, you're thinking something much closer to The Adventure than ReBirth beat-by-beat, but still a step up in gameplay and graphics (perhaps more like Haunted Castle Revisited?).  Perhaps a Castlevania The Adventure ReVisited?

Basically this. I'm thinking they'll likely be a remake of sorts, potentially like Adventure Rebirth, which doesn't sit exactly with the OG, but rather follows the stage-by-stage formatting of the ClassicVania's.

The discord is still pretty active. I think it's happening to almost all communities in general: Discord seems to have eclipsed internet forums, since to a large extent it can serve their functions as well (separate discussion topics into different channels, everything is archived and searchable, etc). Cool.  What do you consider "ReVamped"?  I'm not familiar with the term as far as how it might differ from a remake or a remaster.  You're hoping that putting two of the GB games in the Anniversary Collection and releasing Legends in a Nintendo Switch Online doesn't mean that they're done with those titles.  I'm guessing by ReVamped, you're thinking something much closer to The Adventure than ReBirth beat-by-beat, but still a step up in gameplay and graphics (perhaps more like Haunted Castle Revisited?).  Perhaps a Castlevania The Adventure ReVisited?

I feel you. I will say that I feel like I have things in common and have gotten to know a handful of members here, on one hand.

On the other hand - again, outside of a few members - I never really hear from anyone on here, even on an irregular basis, half the time the site seems to be down (perhaps partly because I'm in Australia) while I love the aspect of retaining older sites, writing reviews occasionally and so forth, a) there's been very little 'newness' in Castlevania for a very long time, and b) I assume the heavyhitters and olderheads like myself have moved on and are doing other things in life.   

So yeah, it is what it is. Greatful for the admin, mods and anyone involved in keeping the forums alive.
