Though I've heard another season is coming for Crystal, in 26 episodes they blew through the original and Death Moon sagas (original and R). Not one filler episode at all, I do miss having some filler though.

No spoilers, please.  I've never seen any form of Sailor Moon before, and am enjoying watching it with no idea of what's going on.  Once I've finished Crystal, I'm going on to the original series.  I agree however that a little more character building, showin actually how the Sailor Senshi become friends and grow closer would have been nice - one of my main issues with the series so far, along with some of the horrible cg textured characters at timed, including when the girls transform.

I'm watching Samurai Champloo again recently.  I came across some really High Definition rips in 1080p.  If you have not seen it, or think it's a goofey name, just trust me on this recommendation.  It's not overtly sexual, or goofy.  It has a lot of strong themes, and lessons to learn.  It's unlike most Japanimes I've seen.

5 things you may not know about Samurai Champloo

3 discs into my marathon of Gundam Wing. Highschool of the Dead is next.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Oohhhh, thanks!  :D  Having binge-watched and finished season 2 of Crystal today, I am now rather excited about season 3.  I want to see more of Sailor Pluto, she's my favourite of the Sailor Senshi so far.

I've watched the anime adaptations of my all time favorite manga series: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and i honestly can't wait for the Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable anime adaptation!

And i just love, LOVE all the JJBA's openings and their soundtracks each! And honestly JJBA is my favorite series and to the Castlevania series! =D

All i can say now is: SONO CHI NO SADAME JOJO!
Standing here, I realize
You were just like me, trying to make history.
But who's to judge the right from wrong?
When our guard is down, I think we'll both agree
That violence breeds violence,
But in the end it has to be this way.

Same, I'm up to episode 7 and not overly impressed. Not that I minded the DB feel, I liked BOG but it's the animation thus far that has let it down.

I hear it gets better later on, but I really wished they'd left BOG as canon and just continued after that, even if they remade FnF again with the anime.

It may also be biased on my behalf because I don't love the Japanese DB voices.

Just finished watching Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Movie again, and this being my sixth or seventh viewing of the film, bolstered by having seen the show through to the end and having read the original manga (I hadn't done either when I first encountered the movie), I can say the movie is FINALLY beginning to open its heart and reveal its secrets to me.

It's a lot like End of Evangelion, in that the film loves to screw with you and just be seemingly random for no reason (like that bit at the beginning of the last act when Utena suddenly turns into a car which Anthy then climbs into and drives away in, all with no explanation given and a side bonus that even Anthy is clearly weirded out and traumatized by what she just witnessed happen). It took all these repeat viewings over the years and context from the other versions of the story for me to realise what I think the intended symbolism was: representing how Utena's interactions with Anthy give her strength and enable her to escape her "prison of fate" and determine her own course in life for the first time. The tv show just had Anthy walk out the door on her own at the end to symbolise that, but I guess the movie felt that imagery was too subtle.

It doesn't help that there are no fewer than FIVE SEPARATE R.G.U CANONS(!): the original manga, the anime, the movie, the manga of the movie, and two light novels -- all of which are separate stories that are not linked with the others.

My advice to anyone watching this movie for the first time: watch the show first, read the original manga, and then make your own judgments upon watching the film -- the film's director and the manga's author have both stated that there's no right way to interpret the story and that all interpretations are correct.

But Revolutionary Girl Utena is not a thing to be missed for any reason; it's one of the greatest anime franchises ever made and the art style of the TV show and film ought to be displayed in museums.

For the love of God, WHY ARE YOU NOT WATCHING THIS YET?!

I'm finally watching Shimonetta. I admit recent anime in general disappoints me to no end, but this one seems pretty fun.

I'm watching Muv-Luv: Schwarzesmarken. I loved the original VNs, but maybe I'm getting old...this anime takes place in an alternate universe where aliens are invading Germany when it was still divided during the 80s, and I just can't buy cute anime girls frolicking around while they're both being hunted by the Stasi *and* freaky aliens. ~_~

Shimonetta made me LOL! It's awesome.

I need to watch Digimon Tri's 2nd movie.
