Its based on the new movie that will launch in the end of this month! ;D It remember me of CV pachislots, even if its not a pachislot game.

But it IS canon. GT is non-canon, SSJ4 in this game is non-canon, but the movie will be canon. Its a original story written by Akira Toriyama himself.

i just dont see how they fit them in the main storyline... most of the games create their own character to continue the story but in the manga, none of it was there... i understand GT was a side dish but then timeline gets thrown off when they add battles like for instance, vs BoJack, Janemba, 13, and Tree of might just seemed out of place

Yes, but Bardock, Future Trunks and Anniversary Special does count in the storyline. This movie too, it happens right after they beat Majin Buu.
