I meant when Richter kills a bunch of enemies at once, with something like a cannon..you should do it kinda like GOW where once you start a combo it keeps rising as long as you are attacking enemies and don't get hit...

I don't know about that since I was trying to make it be castlevania-like, I don't know if a combo system fits that much :/

To pull of a Richter combo system Crimson_Curse might need to to make a whole shwack of new animation sprites.

I think he means a combo system in the same sense as in some Sh'mups.

I did understand what he said in the first time, but I really don't know if that would feel normal on a 2d castlevania game...

Trust me on this one dude, it will work. It's no different than you going around collecting money like in any other Castlevania except the combo thing. You don't necessary have to make new animations for a start of a combo just a meter that keeps going until you get hit. Think DMC...

Well simple is better, it doesn't have to be too much indepth. You can always readjust things at the end when you are finished, but it would be a cool thing to have. I could already see you firing that cannon and the combos racking up when you hit all the medusa heads and then you could start your whipping and continue it...how are things progressing along now?

Well, as I said before, I'm focusing on helping a friends project. When it comes out everybody will love it, certainly. We are working hard on it. I can't say a lot of details though :3 Neither do I have the date that it'll be finished :/ But we will take our time and make it better and better.
On my engine I remade the stone mode and the medusas. Now they all work properly. I'm trying to figure out now how to put some 3d elements on the background.

Be sure you got a dropbox or something and that you have some kind of fail-safe to protect your progress. Are we going to get a new vid soon? I'd like to see that stone deal in action! ;D

WELL DONE! That new fire looks waaay better! One thing that will help you out for making your background with a heat wave is a photoshop pack called Filter Forge Freepack. You can download it for free. There are various ones, but there is a heat wave effect in one. All you have to do is pull your buildings into gimp/photoshop etc. and then use the filter and it does most the work for you. Good level design too dude! I like being about to go on the rooftops! Your doing a heck of a job here. When I get a free moment I am going to make a new preview vid for my game for you too dude! Again WELL DONE! Don't forget to add flames inside of your buildings dude!
