Yamane's not terribly difficult to get ahold of, nor is Amano while I'm thinking about it.

Very lovely people to interact with, too.

You meant Twitter right? Twitch is a live streaming website.

I know what I meant and I meant what I said. I said Twitch, I meant Twitch.

I'm not deriding the idea of Twitter I just don't use it.

I'm also not on Twitter. But I think these are all good ideas!

Michiru e-mailed me. I had e-mailed first when I was making an new arranged version of one of her CV songs.

Lucky :P

How he would use Twitch to promote the game then? Playing some Castlevania games live to promote the game? Showing a demo or trailer after that? Now I'm clueless since it would take even more time and he would need a big fanbase to this work, or I'm wrong?

I assume streaming development sessions as the game is made.

Yeah. That doesn't seem like Mig's style. He's very mysterious. ????

I don't blame him, I wouldn't really want to stream dev sessions either.

My guess is no since we have a team of beta testers.

......OK I just worried a little too much about the overall quality but I think player's actual play experience and feedback is also very important

The music clips are so awesome that I sunk into them without second thought!  Still worrying about the balance of final game though

Better not to fall!

Hi!
Thanks to Jeff Montoya the game will have a wonderfull OST with a great balance of upbeat and atmospheric songs.
Congratulation for the message you've got from Yamane concerning the songs of the youtube video :)

By the way it would be great if a Spanish Writer translator could join the crew. I said i would handle the thing myself but it would be a great spare of time for me. :)
-Italian translator is still required *w*

I'm thinking about the Aceearly1993's comment. I may share a playable demo of the game ( basically the Prologue Level)
but i need to make some things before that.

Something I've noticed in places here and there (but most notably this screenshot) is that there's not a notable distinction between tiles and elements of the levels you can interact with, and the background graphics. In cases like this screenshot, I'd suggest making the floor/solid areas and the swing-ring things (heh, that rhymed) a little brighter, or at the very least alter their coloration slightly to make them stand out a bit more.

That screenshot in particular showcases a nicely-detailed, but really dull-looking environment; the reddish parts of the ground are close to the same color as the leaves/vines covering most of the background, and the swing-rings are also using browns for their coloration (albeit lighter ones).

Granted, I'm red-green colorblind so it's entirely possible the area looks totally fine to "normal" eyes, but to my own I'm having to make myself notice where the solid ground and swing-rings are, and that's not something a good level should ever make people do.

But again, colorblindness may be causing the colors to look so similar to me, so take the above with a grain of salt if I'm the only one who sees the image this way.

In any case, on the chance it's not my eyes messing with me, clear perception of interactive environs should always be a priority, so even if it's just my own eyes playing tricks I wanted to get that word in in case it truly is too-low saturation throughout the environment.

I'm not colorblind myself but I can see Dracula9's concern. Perhaps keeping the colors as they are but darkening the background just a tad more should get better results. But I guess it also depends on whether or not this segment of the game is during daylight or evening hours. The game looks great so don't get me wrong here  :)

I agree with X on darkening the background or adding more highlights to the usable objects. Those with poor eyesight like me can have problems distinguishing which items are in the foreground/background/usable.

Nope. I'm not colorblind, and I can see the issue too.

The red/maroom ground is indeed blending too easily with the green in the background, and the spikes are also not very well defined when in contact with the wall in the background due to being too "dirty"-looking.

The bronze rings are better defined, but they lack the "pop out" quality that interactable objects in video games usually have.
