I'm stoked for this game.

Konami owns very little of Castlevania, characterization and mechanics-wise. Developers are not stepping all over them basically out of a need to distinguish themselves, and respect for a legacy franchise.

Start noticing how certain games in the market handle their Castlevania "inspirations". Konami not suing every single one of them to hell is an interesting tell about how much of Castlevania is free game.
