Sorry about that :-[

Seems interesting. Are you just changing the prices of the items or adding in new items?

Something that might be of HUGE assistance to you:
Download Memhack, then simply do a LONG search for the cost of the duplicator. It should be found at 0xb204d0 in memhack (0x1d44b0 is the actual address in PCSX; you have to add 0x94c020 to get it's equivalent in memhack). Once you find it do ANOTHER search, this time SHORT format for a descent size range above and below this address.
If you subtract 2 from the address for the duplicator price, you will find the value 84; this is the # of the item for sale. If you subtract 2 more from that address, you will find the category # of what item is for sale (0 = hand equipment, 1 = head, 2 = armor, 3 = cape, 4 = accessories). If you subtract 2 from this address again, you should see a 0. This is part of the next item UP's price (only used by duplicator, since it is the only price > 65535). Subtract 2 again from this address with the zero will be the next item up. The format is the same for all of the stuff for sale.
Here is a chart with all of the item # values so you know what you are looking at. Please note that these values are used when EQUIPPING things or picking up items, but in the librarian as I said it uses a item # and category # instead. After all hand items the value resets to 0 for categories 1-4. Of course you can easily figure out using the list what item you still want with some simple math:
An example: the duplicator is 84 because the empty body item would be 0; if you count down 94 you get the duplicator. For hand items, just look at the # listed as is. :)
REMEMBER CATEGORY 2= BODY, NOT HEAD ITEMS EVEN THOUGH BODY ITEMS COME FIRST ONE THE LIST BELOW!!!!!!
NOTE: THERE IS ALSO A CATEGORY 5: it is used only for the jewel of open, castle map and spell scrolls, with 0 being jewel of open, 1 = map, etc. I have gotten some other relics to show up before using category 0... but that would require further experimentation on your part as I did not document it. :)

Damn I'm almost tempted to slap that post into a notepad. That thing is chock full of good info!
-
EDITORMASTER: With the info that I provided above you literally just have to design a GUI for your editor, and code it in to either:
a)Edit the values in ram temporarily
or
b)have it permanently change them in the lib.bin file (or f_lib.bin; not sure which it is in but this is easily fixed if you just do a quick search in them with a hex editor)
There are a few other things you may need to mess with for it, but that should be about 95% of what you need. 8)
PHOENIX: I highly recommend that you do; I have actually considered creating a repository on my blog for all the info I have about SOTN. But I just don't have the time right or motivation to sort through or document it all.

excuse me, but why the hell did you edit the link and hack information out of your post???

Sorry about that

Shop editor progress 45% ;D

Are you also planning on adding the ability to sell different items on the "sell jewels" screen? This could easily be done by changing the item # values for the item being sold and the amount they sell for and is just as easily done.
-
Sure i can add skills
how let alucard not lose equipment from death monster also how find this event ?
Thanks advance
-
Sure i can add skills
Ummmmmmmmm..... wha? I don't understand what you are trying to say here.
how let alucard not lose equipment from death monster also how find this event ?
Thanks advance
That would require editing the ASM coding itself and removing SEVERAL lines of code. These lines of code would be found in the NO3.bin file. You would need to use the PCSX debugger to figure it out when it rewrites to the address below (you may even need to start checking the code when it READS from them before changing). Here are the related addresses for where it stores what items alucard currently has equipped (this is a quick copy and paste from my master notes file; which explains why the variable declaration is still listed):
extern SHORT hand1 = { "", 0x097c00+exe}; //0x9e3c20 //see note
extern SHORT hand2 = { "", 0x097c04+exe}; //0x9e3c24 //see note
extern SHORT head = { "", 0x097c08+exe}; //0x9e3c28 //see note
extern SHORT body = { "", 0x097c0c+exe}; //0x9e3c2c //see note
extern SHORT cloak = { "", 0x097c10+exe}; //0x9e3c30 //see note
extern SHORT accessory1 = { "", 0x097c14+exe}; //0x9e3c34 //see note
extern SHORT accessory2 = { "", 0x097c18+exe}; //0x9e3c38 //see note
The first pointer is the address in the PCSX debugger; the 2nd pointer behind the slant is the address in memhack (exe = 94c020 which is 5b6e40 for epsxe + 3951E0 for memhack. That is where the 2nd address comes from).
Keep in mind that the ABOVE addresses only take into account WHEN the items ARE EQUIPPED! If someone UNEQUIPS THEM THEN WALKS INTO DEATH'S ROOM they won't help. You would instead need to have the pcsx debugger look at where the amount you have of each item is stored. Which is found at:
extern BYTE weaponslist[1] = { "", 0x09798a+exe}; //0x9e39aa //the list of all the weapons & equipment in the menu
(same format as above)
The chart with all the weapons and items, armor, etc is in my previous post above. It was the info that you previously said you had already. They go in the order posted above. So 0x09798a would be the # of empty hand items you have, 0x09798b would be the # of monster vial 1 items you have, etc. You will have to count downward and find the value for each of alucard's initial equipables and set the game to NOT reduce their # to 0 in the asm code.
You basically would need to account for BOTH scenarios to do it right.
Of course... you could always just figure out what pointer says death has already appeared, set it to true, and call it a day. :) In effect, making him NEVER show up, but that would be lame. 8)
-
I hope so let him not show up ;)
-
I found enable ability Alucard ,also you can use Library card to remove event death monster and your equipment not lost . :D

Good job, it will be cool to kill Richter with Poison Mist or battle Doppelganger with the same tactics that it uses transforming in Mist

Sure you can kill anyone in your road, also have all items & all familiar ;D

Hello guys
Finally fixed equipment Alucard from death monster, now death monster can't steal gears Alucard yeahoooo :D

Haha cool, this makes me imagine Death trying to steal your equips only to discover that he stealed the wrong ones (Alucart items) lol

I wonder why i can't play by Maria ? (only sega saturn)
Because Maria's sprite for the psx, isn't fully functional and it was never programed to be used for the main game, it was left there as a forgotten and unfinished plan, along with some other stuffs.

Because you haven't released anything. Not much to get excited about in the first place anyway. It edits the single shop in a game where the shop has one single use to open a door you can't otherwise get through. How exciting. How dynamic and interesting the game now is because I can hack in items into a shop that's existence doesn't matter at all.
If you want recognition you need to do a little more than that.
Make a hack where Richter is now Julius and maybe people will give your hack more than just a glance.

Now now, Uzo...
It is not up to us to keep a thread alive.
You said you had some computer issues which were preventing you from releasing stuff. That's probably one of the reasons that kept people from discussing things things here. That, and other topics have come up.
It is up to you to maintain the buzz of your project alive with actual news/updates.

It took you long enough, lol, just kidding.
Seriously though, this is a good little tool, and I'm sure this took quite a bit of work to make. :)
BTW, don't let the troll posts bother you. The people here who are the most critical of others are also the ones who are the most talentless, and contribute nothing other than spewing forth useless rubbish, and promises of never to be finished projects. ;) Hence why I only use forums to post my updates and rarely use them otherwise.
Do you have anything else planned for this?
Edit: lol at the -2 rep on this post. You mad bro(s)? :P

If you want to take it one simple step further, you could also put in a menu to change what normal and rare drops each enemy has, and at what rate they drop them. That would be very simple to do.

why not you do that ? i told you before i make patch Equipment's Alucard to disable steal death monster .
I'm sorry Esco, i'm sure you can do that by self . ;)

I actually don't care what you do with it since I have no use for your toolpersonally (not trying to be rude just saying). I was just suggesting it since I saw you had 2 more tabs available on the tool like you were looking for something to put there. It's coo though. 8)

Editing tools are always a good thing. I was keeping an eye on this it looks like fun. I could see a few good uses for it right off the top of my head anyhow.

can someone re-upload this save editor on a reliable site?I've been searching for this for months. The mediafire link doesnt work and the tutorial he posted doesnt work either.Neither link works and EditorMaster dissappeared as always.Hes been doing this on several sites for months now.he talks about tools which people have to beg him to release,he doesnt release them (suikoden editor etc) then he dissappears. He released this editor but STILL you cannot get it because the link doesnt work.someone out there must understand my frustration since others had to beg/told him to release it finally.
