Richter stance edit

Little edit of SotN Trevor.

If anyone wants to use this or make the rest of the standing frames feel free to do so.

I like it a little better than the default Richter standing sprite.

The palette on the left is the original Richter palette. The one on the right is custom; it blends in better with more drab background colors.

It really just looks like there is less color to me. Which is a good thing but I dont see any difference other than that.

New Richter > Old, would look better in the game, the old one is too loud.

You don't see a difference because you've never inserted it into a game that doesn't use bright Rondo tiles LOL.

It uses the same amount of color, just a slightly different coloration.

The outfit may be a little bit more faithful to the Rondo coverart, too.

I've never put a sprite into any game, >.> But other than changing the color, (still seeems like its just less color) did you redraw or anything? cuz I really can't find much difference.

Just to clarify, other than the palette there's not supposed to be a difference. The Richter on the right (in the first picture) is simply a palette mod to another, alternative Richter sprite I made using SotN Trevor as a base.

I made one using the original Rondo palette and realized Rondo's colors are a little too "loud", so I duplicated it, altering the color so that it blends in better with darker backgrounds.

So, you honestly can't tell a difference in palettes here (official Richter vs. custom edit-job):

Ah, so I wasn't wrong about the color change is pretty much all you did? It does look good thogh, but I was trying to look for more than what you did I guess. Its wat people usually do I guess.

Right?

he must be because i can't believe anybody can't see its an edit.lol
because you can clearly see its a edit of trevor because richter shows his back wile tevor show his chest when he walks.

heres a pic of the old sprite the only chest sprite richter has too i think:P
even tho he showed you them side by side but you must not had seen that pic so here's another.lol

so now you must see how hard he work to edit trevor, you must have forgotten how richter really looked ::)
or was drunk or something when you posted because anybody even a baby could had seen it was an edit.

well anyway very cool on the color mod i like it and the edit on the sprite is bad ass as well :o
as always i love your work!

Hehehe thanks. Hard work -- it took 3 minutes to make. :P

I think I will make a complete set now. I'd like to redo every single Richter frame. I may change his wristbands and other details to be more faithful to the Rondo cover art.

WOAH, I had no idea you made running frames for that old Simon spriteset. Those are impressive. You should have got in touch with me when I was making the homebrew... I would have put you to work haha.

Do you have anymore spritework or animations you care to share?
