Japan is on it's way out as far as being THE athority on video games in general.  All they like are quirky affinities such as dating sims and their same-ish JRPGs. And they liget sea sick when there is too much action on screen...

Well I wouldn't say all of Japan is like that there's still castlevania which has plenty of action. ;)
