I'm kind of afraid it may not look right with the black outline... Not that i love it so much I can't take it out, but I really think its kinda strange without it. But as the stages will not use the black outline, I'm guessing I should work them out of the sprite... Does it seems like a wise choice giving the facts?

So I took it out and improved the sprite. Is it any better?

Castlevania Epitaph of Blood Demo 1
Made a little video demo of the character movement as well as the carriage.
The carriage is a little shaky like one frame of animation is off, but everything else is BEAUTIFUL!
p.s. Richter needs a breathing animation when he is in an idle pose....

I'll take a look at that! And it should be easy to make a breathing animation for him! If you liked this tomorrow I'll be releasing some screens or maybe a video of the first part of the first stage :3

You're carriage sprite looks good! It may seem weird to you since you probably started spriting with black outlines from the very beginning. However I can tell you that the lack of black lines except for only the darkest of areas is perfect. Really well done job  8)

agree this looks awsome=) Please be wise when putting in the soundtracks. I'd personally love to hear vampire killer and beginning from dracula new classic and some of Jorges arrangements, if he would allow it.
it looks really cool!

Yeah, I'll probably make some question for you guys about the soundtrack by the projects end! Nothing relevant by now :3

I got a better flame sprite :3

It's definitely some pretty nice work there. I salute you on that, however, I gotta say that the new Richter sprite has one major problem. It's SO obviously based on Julius that it detracts from everything else. The problem with basing an edit on Julius is that he has very distinctive animations that set him apart from all the other Belmonts. In this case I'd suggest doing the same edit but with SotN Richter as the base. Normally I wouldn't suggest Richter as a base since he's pretty distinct himself, but since your edit IS of Richter it's perfectly appropriate. Cheers again on the good work so far! Huzzah!

I dont think I could go thru all the sprites I already did, again... I'm new into this, and it was kinda hard to make it all :/ He was actually made of richter from sotn + jonathan + julius. The most used one was Jonathan, then richter, so julius... I made his walk and his duck out of julius... The rest is pretty much fusions of jonathan and richter sprites and one fusion of julius legs with richter torso...

It's mostly that whipping animation and the run that screams Julius, but now that you mention it Jonathan has a very similar sprite to Julius. I can understand it if you don't want to change it, but I still suggest at least a revision in the future.

I would like to change it if it was for better, but as I said it took me a lot of time cause I'm a noob :/ I would die doing it again. I'd have to make all sprites again because of size issues, I think :/
