Deadline for submissions: August 31st (11:59 PM PST)
Judgement: by forum poll from Sept. 1st to Sept. 5th at midnight. Winners are announced when the votes are all in. Judges are welcome, just tell me in the thread.
Theme: Remix any Castlevania tune for a summer-y feel
Rules:
Anything goes! (minus collabs)
Short tracks are OK.
Make sure you write the original title of the song + the game it came from in the description of the track.
Prizes: Award medals for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Heart of Fire would be nice. Or any of the entrance themes.

For a seasonal feel inversion challenge, I'd suggest one of the themes from DoS. They're pretty winter-y across the board aside from a few exceptions.

My laptop is literally breaking apart as I try to finish a tribute song I'm working on! The screen is like pealing off! ????
As long as my computer holds up, I hope I can participate in this one. I already have an idea for it that I'm really excited about.
Otherwise I'll gladly judge.

Ehhh... no person sent me a PM or wrote a reply at the previous contest thread for a theme suggestion. That implies that no one wants to give a theme. Anyway, if you want to add a theme to the theme bank, tell me now.

Finally, won't have the time to enter. Moving soon for a new job without my PC, so no music for a while.

I don't know how to make songs for these music contests, but Earthbound's theme for the town of Summers is one of the first things I thought about when I read this topic. Not sure if it could mix well with a CV theme or not, but it's an idea if someone wants it...
