jem and the holograms theme song

I truly love Jem and the Holograms, with zero irony. I always thought the opening was the best. ;_;

I haven't seen that intro since the late 80s. I'd almost forgotten. The animation for the characters is really quite smooth, almost top-notch too.

In terms of what I love that seems embarrassing..? I'll have to think about this one cause I'm not really sure.

Oh God, I don't even know where to begin for myself.
If I gave the full list, y'all'd think I was trollin.
You might even wind up thinking that anyway.

Pics.

How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Sir Flutter Dash's pics are so colorful that I felt the need to create balance by bringing darkness in here.

Is it also embarrassing to like Immortal? Because I love Immortal.

Also nobody come in here and say ACTUALLY THAT'S LORD REGINALD GUTSFUCKER AND THE SILLY NANNIES, the only worthwhile black metal band is Immortal. And Sigh.

Well, so long as you're not a rabid fan...
As for me, in case you didn't notice my first not-so hidden message in the MLP thread, a certain fanfic got me into ponies.
Now, before I say anything else, you might wanna go and click that link first. (Don't worry, it's SFW.)
...
You still with me? Good.
Sure, that fanfic was morbid as hell, but the sheer audacity of it made it completely hilarious to me. Of course, the fact that murderously insane people tend to be my source of laughs because of my somewhat morbid sense of humor may (not?) have helped. That said...

Cupcakes, anyone?

It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

Have no fear my good sir. I still hate Edward and Bella, and it disturbs me that the supporting cast is infinitely more amusing and interesting than the three main characters.

I mostly read the books during big data installs on my PS3, or when the internet is down and I need some stupid amusement to elicit some cheap laughs.

Same here. I don't really think of them as embarrassing, though. Awesomely cheesy, yes.

Dimmu Borgir on the other hand...

Heh. They look like ice princesses. At least the guy on the left is clearly ashamed.
Can't say I liked their last one, but they've been a definite guilty pleasure for me.

But Immortal does have embarrassing poses, I guess. Poses worthy of the Ginyu Special Corps.

...speaking of which, Dragonball Z is a pretty embarrassing thing for me to like.

And Disturbed. I know Disturbed sucks really really bad, but I love a few of their albums.

I like Jem, that movie Mannequin on the move it's pretty silly but I like it too. Most of the characters are super flamboyant but in the end its entertaining and I like the soundtrack.

Is that movie Big Trouble in Little China considered embarrassing? 'cause I like that one too.

Oh yeah there's another movie, I don't know its name but I like how Dracula, his son and brides are depicted. It's about a group of people that visit a strange wax museum with sculptures of popular horror characters, it seems there's some kind of curse on the statues and they actually are like portals to dimensions were the legends they represent are true.
When the characters stare at them they fall on some kind of spell that provokes them to approach close enough to get trapped in the portal. They all die horrible deaths and become part of the sculptures, it a tacky b movie with excessive violence and gore but the guy that plays Dracula I thought it was perfect for the part and does a great job, I like it just for that part lol :B

I don't remember if there are more embarrassing stuff I like right now
