Ubisoft has announced plans for a next-generation theme park, slated to open in 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! The park will be a 10,000-square-meter indoor complex featuring rides, shows and other attractions, all built around Ubisoft’s games and characters.
The project is led by Ubisoft Motion Pictures and according to IGN the theme park will be "based on properties including Assassin's Creed, Just Dance and Rabbids."

Why would they open up a theme park? Are they not making enough from their franchises anymore?

More is good for them. And I'm thinking they are betting that the upcoming AC movie is a financial success. We all have to wait and see if that happens.

Question is how the heck would a LoF simulation be done?  Tbh, I'd actually avoid that....  it used to be bad enough for getting height related nausea when just playing through 2 the first time around! XD

I'm thinking of the same way Star Tours from Disneyland does their simulations.

They could have picked a worse space ONLY if they had built it in: Vietnam, an ex soviet union country, Alaska, the south pole, and North Korea...

I would have said the Middle East as well, but well, you know, Assassin's Creed... That would be amazing actually.

And why not indeed. The city of Dubai is still growing rapidly, they could easily put it there.
