Thanks so much for playing the demo!

Check out a medley of the music from The Taxidermy Gallery!

There is a lot of music in this game. A lot.

Thanks everyone!

https://youtu.be/X7-7e95dPnw?si=C8PFd9ek6UiHOlSg

That medley has it all! The creepy buildup, the moody but adventurous melody, and then the ominous boss theme (preceded by one more spooky ambient piece). I was so happy to hear the boss music included. I was going to see if I could find it to listen to because I didn't realize this was a medley at first. I REALLY like that boss tune. It has weight and momentum to it. One of the things that was so cool about Lecarde 2 was how many music change-ups there were (including individual boss themes!) and how they played to the scenes at hand so immersively. I think it's part of what makes Migami's work so organic-feeling.

I've been hyping up your past and current work to a friend, and I hope there's enough of those crazy, unique moments similar to Lecarde 2 like the time-altering puppet show, so that this friend can see how amazing and creative your game design is.

Also great to hear Kira is back. She was Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, too! Still have to get to Wallachia. It's on my list, but don't want to force it in the middle of some other titles I'm playing right now. I want to be able to appreciate it. I'm curious how much it connects to Chronicles of the Wolf. You mention elsewhere it's a prequel in the universe, but as I understand it Wallachia is more reality-based--i.e. no zombies, etc. Also, you mentioned some kind of combo pack of the two games before. Is that a digital thing? Physical? Just trying to figure that out too.

Good luck with everything. Excited about every little announcement. The music is not to be underestimated on this.

You're still generalizing. You didn't like it. That's your opinion. Trying to say, "all classic fans hate it" is disproven by one classic fan liking it.

Is it my favorite series? No. But then I don't even generally like anime. But it's a version of Castlevania. It's enjoyable enough.

I don't remember where I read it (VGMdb possibly, or a social media post), but apparently Silent Hill's own Akira Yamaoka did the drum programming for "Crystal Teardrop". Gooooood stuff.

Edit: Guess I posted about it millennia ago. Too bad I can't seem to access the GhM podcast anymore, but it sounds like Yamaoka did all of the drum programming for SOTN, or more than just one song. He's credited for "Rythme arrange" on two tracks, but no mention of programming in the credits.

Only you can answer that one; we haven't been in regular contact since 2008, so I missed out on some character development, let's say.

Mayhaps the following edit will suffice?:

*the melting pot of oldtime fans (acquainted with the game series through its Development Hell) and newtime fans attracted by the cartoon's 2017 debut (whom also may know CV exclusively as such with 0 game background, which could also be a good thing; for example, I enjoyed the 2005 DOOM movie on principle of a cracking good time and 0 first-hand experience)

Your post published moments before mine so it wasn't factored into my thoughts, at any rate.  Had to get ready for the job.

We are happy to announce that Kira Buckland has joined the cast this time to lend her voice to this lovely young lady! Kira voiced Elcin in Wallachia: Reign of Dracula and Christine in Castlevania The Lecarde Chronicles 2. We are thrilled to have her back! 🙂🐺

The series' polarizing nature is old hat; this is merely the first time the melting pot of oldtime and newtime fans have to contend with such a complicated nature in the Netflix adaption.

It's quite the different animal compared to, say, the early-2000s news the latest game will be yet another MapQuest starring Micheal Jackson.

Or ye olde Simon VS Richter debate of opinions/personal preference.

And which one am I? You argument seems to be "old fans don't like it", except...

Which side of the Religion divide was Nintendo of America again?  With all its inconsistent cross-editing of the CVs?
