Just stick with Eddy Shinjuku...come to think of it, a friend of mine might be doing commissions, but I'm not sure she does grimdark. I can ask if you want.

Woah, really sad story here. Why on earth did you pay him in advance?  :o- I don't want to be an ass, but for someone claiming to be a pro, most of his works look amateurish to me. I hope you have better luck with future comissions and you get your money back.

I paid him in advance because that's how commissions usually work (you pay the artist half or all of it up front).

I've gone through many, many commissions over the years where the turnaround time was fine. The only downside is the last time I hired Xoni/MSonia was kind of bumpy, and there's a couple other artists drawing me stuff that have been acting... odd for the past few months.
