Recently I got a mysterious present from a relatevely new game dev group:

It's been a long time since I was deep inside the "more traditional" Mega-Man-inspired type of pure 2D action games. I'm pretty happy that the developers offered me a chance to demonstrate/playthrough this WIP build! Please be sure to follow their presence in English social media:

After watching this new vid, I definitely feel that the game could use actual musical compositions rather then the presented J-pop it's currently relying on. That's one of the things that made games unique back in the 80's and early 90's was their compositions. Just listening to game music back then made them very interesting and engaging. Sadly this has been replaced with generic J-pop sounds that leave very little to the imagination. A good composed soundtrack would go a long way to help to flesh out this game.

Thanks for your feedback! We've contacted the person who composed the soundtracks to share your general thoughts. Hope the game goes well when it's fully prepared.

I hope you didn't make me sound too hard on the guy, lol. Making music is definitely not easy as I can't even wrap my head around the concept. But I also know that anyone who works with music should be able to compose an actual tune.

Honestly, I wonder what kind of reaction will Inti Creates or Capcom be towards this game since the public demo is out. Anyway, I think it did an outstandingly good job among the followers of the MMZX type of game design. Very much recommended to Inti Creates fans and Mega Man ZX fans.

Because the similarity of this game's gameplay to Mega Man Zero, Takuya Aizu the CEO of Inti Creates retweeted a worrying tweet which doubts if this game is 100% lawsuit safe.
The argument is kinda eased eventually...Or are they?

less than 8 days until the close of funding. Everyone, if possible, please help the project to be more successful!

(From what I can get from the devs, the game's development is mostly done but seems like the development fee is running out, and the fund is for extra decorations like custom sound effects, voices and such. )

Game's release... overall the game is having good enough reception to people used to mega man zero/zx, but on the other hand it seems to be not very kind enough to players not from that era, as judging from the harsher reviews. Luckily I'm not the latter kind so I had a very good time breezing through the game. Really looking forward to all of the future road maps and kickstarter feedbacks are intact.

The developer started a stream yesterday. Very interesting and valuable for game devs but for now we can only hope if there's anyone badass enough to compile all subtitles translated.
