I've seen threads like this on various other forums, so why not have one here? Seeing Abnormal Freak's thread reminded me about this.
Basically, this thread is to just say whatever is on your mind at the moment. It is not a chat thread. It is not a spam thread. But if you seriously need to say something like, "Man, this cereal is so good...", then this is the place to do it. It can be funny, serious, random, whatever. :)
Of course, if it starts to derail into another topic, just make a new thread about that or continue it through PMs or whatever.
Anyway, it sure is dark in here.

My head is dizzy.
Been feeling nausea whenever I look at my cellphone or computer screen for over 4 months now.
-
The actual game will always be better than a emulator, unless its PS2 and GC and up
-
I am sitting somewhere in Central Park, NYC, NY, admiring the nature and the trees... yet happy that I can just as easily post something online about it. Both nature and technology are awesome.
I think I will go to the Metropolitan Museum of Modern art later on in the day. :)

There's nothing quite like the feeling of waking up in the morning, stretching your legs...and then getting a massive calf cramp. >:( It seems like I'm good for one of those every few months.
Also, I'm immature enough to laugh when I realize that everyone refers to the show Through the Wormhole With Morgan Freeman as Morgan Freeman's Wormhole.

Fanfiction is hard work ;;_;;

What a cold morning.

Jay's rap has been on my mind—and pops into my head a lot, actually.
Jay and Silent Bob Rap (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON0iqz4ento#ws)
The intro to this film is the only part I find really funny. The rest is just kind of "meh" with a few funny jokes here and there.

Summer's going way too fast up here. I'd at least like more sun before settling down for another 8 frigid months of pure suck :P
-
The time seems to just fly by, and it seems as though I'm getting nowhere fast.

60's Spiderman is awesome.
-
JPCSP runs slow as hell, playing SotN with 20 fps is boring as hell.
Also, I'm digging this song:

60's Spiderman is awesome.
So is Italian Spiderman:

-
I sorta forgot about Italian Spider-Man. :) I'm sure there are a lot of videos that I never saw. Gotta get on that.
Reminds me of Mexican Batwoman.

The Silent Hill games rock so much dick. For seriously. (Currently doing a marathon of the first four—by FAR the best in the series.) They borrow a bit from Jacob's Ladder, Twin Peaks, and other David Lynch flicks. They just rock so much. Seriously rubbin' one off to the first game right now. Wanting to watch aforementioned flicks.
Dilemma: With the first game out of the way, which do I play next—2 or 3? Kinda thinking I might like to go directly to the latter to get the continuing story, but 2 is the best of the bunch and I kinda wanna play the games in order just to relive how they advanced technologically with each game and how Yamaoka's styles changed. Aaaargh!
The carousel in the first (and third) game reminds me of this old Ministry video:

I had a dream that I was invited to an event known as "Drac Tiderc Ruoy Laets Lliw I". Anyone with sense would not go to an event with that title, but apparently I was stupid in my dream (wait, when am I not? HURR)
Anyway, I left with a bunch of prizes and all kinds of riches. Who would've thought?
Then I was hit by a bus. I awoke shortly after that.

Had frost on the ground this morning. Some much for my wanting more sun :'(

i feel like i have a knife stuck on the side of my head....

So I get back home from work yesterday, and I find this letter from the university. They want 7000 NIS (around 2000$) for education next year and they want it fast. Like, within two weeks. Of course I could pay it saparately each month, but it'd cost 250 NIS more. Damn it.
Yeah, I have the money, but I'm not too eager parting with it so soon, especially since the courses start only in October. I work my ass off for that money, and I am cheap as hell. Also I get a boner each time I find another thousand credits on my bank account, and I like them to STAY there. *Sigh*
Also, there's SHIT everywhere!

So a friend told me that in that "iCarly" show, they were complaining about a heatwave that was 104 degrees.
My response upon hearing this? "HA!"
Seriously, in my hometown, it's like, 110 degrees on a normal day. Like, 100 during the Winter. Don't get me started on heatwave days.
-
100 during winter? Where the hell do you live?...
-
Owl City is just a Copy of Postal Service, The techno and the wordy lyrics says it all.
-
100 during winter? Where the hell do you live?...
Yuma, Arizona. It's hot here.
100's more like its hottest point. It's generally somewhere in the 88-99 range.
-
It's not the heat. It's the humidity.
Arizona and Texas get a Dry heat.
I believe Carly's town is Seattle, WA. which is known for being very humid at times.
....not that I watch the show. >_>
-
*Quickly converts Fahrenheit to Celsius*
Holy crap, 43 degrees? And I thought Israel is a hot country... lol
Well, fortunately it's not too hot this summer... Hardly ever gets above 40, mostly 30-35, but I live 4 miles from the sea, and the humidity is intolerable. :P
-
Yeah it's not so much the heat, it's the humidity that'll kill ya. The worst heat I've experienced up here was around 38c.
-
Yerp. o. o Darn that humidity. My mom lived in Venezuela for a while and said it was more tolerable there at 107 degrees than it is here at 80 with high humidity. And Minnesota being the Land of 10,000 Lakes that it is, it's fuggin' weeeeet and sticky here.
It's been really bad the past few weeks (hence "heatwave"), but it finally cooled down yesterday. I actually really enjoyed being outside yesterday and not pushing out waterfalls of sweat the second I step outside.
-
It's raining here yesterday. Borneo/Kalimantan is a quite comfortable place to live in, not too hot or cold. No volcano and earthquake.
-
Borneo
See any flying snakes? Did one land on you?? :o
-
See any flying snakes? Did one land on you?? :o
I live in a town.
So, no, I never saw one.
-
My inner thighs are really chafed from all the hot and humid weather and walking around at work and such.
:O
Rubbed some vaseline on those bad boys. Helps alleviate...but it's taking a while fer this sheeit to go away. 'Course, I've been walking around a lot...
-
It's called "shafshefet" in Hebrew, and yeah, it's quite painful and very annoying. You can wear boxers or loose underwear, but personally, if you walk around too much in hot weather, I don't know whether it really helps prevent it.
That's something soldiers suffer from A LOT, I know I did on my service, and there are many ways to heal it when you don't have any lotions with you.
A well-known method is spraying the chafed area with a deodorant. IT BURNS LIKE HELL but sometimes, it may help.
Yet this didn't do my friend any good, lol:

Zac Efron was in Black Hawk Down? I thought 'round 2001 all he did was that crappy High School Musical.
Speakin' of movies, Prince of Persia is now my top movie. Unbelievable anything actually beats Lucky Number Sleven in my eyes.

Everything is Expensive. Food, furniture, games, cigarettes, rents and so on ...
Although I deserve better than some others, but where will it lead to?
Title on the site on the News Paper with a big fat picture and big letters ---> Princess "who cares" wants to get married. I care about that? Its even not in my own country.
THey should talk about the problems we have and our politics they get paid for not doing their job. its like our politics is a mafiosi clan, and im serious about that...

Why Does USA believe Celebrities' lives are much more important that their own lives?
-
Why Does USA believe Celebrities' lives are much more important that their own lives?
We do? :p
I don't believe that the common person does. Many stress a lot of importance on them, but I don't think they care for them more than they do their own lives or their families' lives. More than half the population I'm sure doesn't give a shit about celebs.
-
I think it's more like passing interest for them.
-
It's called "shafshefet" in Hebrew
New word I'll have to remember. 8) A friend of mine and I were taking a late night stroll a couple nights ago and both of us chafed terribly. Next time, we'll be sure to say, "This blasted shafshefet!"
I'm a boxers dude, I like my goods jangling. But yeah—hot, sticky weather does a lot of rotten things. :(
-
Woke up yesterday afternoon with a twitch in my hand. The twitch then came down my arm. At first I thought I was having some kinda stroke or the beginnings of a Heart attack. But here I am a day later so I guess it was just a twitch :P
-
Went to the Sunsplash water park yesterday. That was pretty awesome. Of course, I spent more time waiting in lines than I did in any water. Half the stuff there wasn't even worth waiting for. The food smelled damn good though, but costs you an arm and a leg if you want a decent sized meal.
And I didn't get back until midnight. Joy.

And I wished I could've seen Fedor in his prime. :(

Of the deuce or of me layin' the deuce?
Doesn't matter. As long as it's high resolution.

Imitation is the sincerest for of flattery, in which case, Crisis some how wants to flatter me?
-
Hell, he's got shelverton's sig right above mine, and he and I are the two coolest folks on this board. ;D
-
Why imitate your alternate account's personal text, Crisis?
-
Man. People in my crib needa chill out an' whatnot.

I'm finally going ahead and buying NES Battletoads tomorrow. Looking forward to a frustration-filled weekend featuring a variety of cusswords.

In 9 days I'm going on a short vacation, a cruise to Greece. Well, it's not really Greece, mainly Crete.
But it's a rest from everyday worries, which is a good thing.
-
If you were coming to Athens, we could meet up!!!

Yup, there goes the thread. Thanks for playing!
Seems some people took the thread's purpose to be "I'm going to be a judgmental prick about other people's thoughts", thus destroying the spirit of the thread.
Such posts and their responses have been deleted, even off of the archives.
Congratulations! Now I know not to allow threads like these in the future.
