There seems to be a lack of interesting zombie things (in my own opinion). The only ones I can think of that are worth playing/watching/reading/etc. are Resident Evil (not the live-action movies), Left 4 Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead, World War Z, and Survive: The Undead Assault. Anyone have any other suggestions that I could hit up?

And I swear to God. If anyone says something like Nazi Zombies or RDR: Undead Nightmare, I will find you. And I will slap you. I don't even care if you slap back. I will. I find a lot of the zombie things coming out lately as sad excuses for interesting Undead stories.

There seems to be a lack of interesting zombie things.

Hmmm, let's see, so zombies are basically flesh-hungry, brain-dead creatures that are only controlled by a basic necessity to feed on living tissue. That is undoubtedly the most stupid and unoriginal concept created by mankind. The fact that this concept has given birth to hundreds of films, books and video games is a disgrace that only proves the further downfall of intelligence in human society.

So I say, the combination of zombies and "interesting" is not quite possible from the start.

Go watch/read The Walking Dead. The comic book is awesome and so is the TV series.

Day of the Dead's all right. I dunno, not exactly a favorite of mine.

I did forget to name drop Zombie (a.k.a. Zombi 2, the unofficial sequel to Dawn of the Dead/Zombi; or Zombie Flesh Eaters if you're a wacky Brit). Not my favorite of Fulci's though it's his most popular, but it is a really good movie. Zombie Holocaust—a.k.a. Dr. Butcher, M.D. (Medical Deviate)—is a nice rip-off, heh.

Zombi 3 (Zombie Flesh Eaters 2) is also a flick worth seeing just 'cos of how batty it is. You'll have never seen the variety of zombies featured here—normal slow zombies, super-fast machete-wielding zombies, underwater zombies, and even a zombie head that flies. It's not a good movie by any means, but it's entertaining.

Are you all referring to the original Dawn of the Dead? I've only seen the new one, though I heard the original is superior by far.

How is it? right now all the reviews are giving it pretty bad reviews... but I take the words from someone who actually played it before a reviewer.

Yeap, the original. Though I like the remake, too.
