Probably because it was set at a faster animation cycle then his Rondo counterpart was. But for me it was fine. His speed in Dracula X matched that of the foreground scrolling, much better then it did in Rondo.

I have downloaded the game and for some reason the jump doesn't work. The button works fine on my gamepad and inside the game menu, but when i press it on the game, the character won't jump.

I have a better one, he defintely broke his own boots (or maybe even a bone or two) falling in the catacombs. That's why he starts running again a few hundred meters in as soon as he finds the dash boot :^)

anyway for me Nathan's walking pace wasnt as horrible as Richters's in Dracula XX. I hate how messed up the walking cycle animation is compared to the actual walking speed, it just looks off

I like this project, both regarding where it is, and where it's going. :D

It doesn't have to be slow. You could speed it up to more 'n less be the same with walking speed. But if there is stair-climbing/descending then it doesn't look natural/convincing if the animations aren't there.

Thanks dude! Yeah I opted out on that. Originally I was going to add it but it slowed the gameplay feel. Especially when you are in villages  ;D

Nice trailer! But I did notice that Simon doesn't have Stair-climb/descend animations.

You mean the one when Trevor strikes Dracula after Sypha traps his leg with ice spikes? It's already used when the trio arrives to Dracula's room, and re-editing it to the very end in Alucard's room might look a little awkward, but it might work. Thanks for the feedback!
