So I finally have signed up for EA Origin, preordered Mass Effect Andromeda, and threw in a subscription to EA Access while I was at it. And then I discovered that as a member of EA Access, I was able to get the deluxe editions of the whole Mass Effect Trilogy on the house. Along with a bunch of other games I'd been itching to play on PC at no additional cost. Next month I'll see about snapping up the Mass Effect Trilogy DLCs to complete the set.

This... this turned out better than I could have possibly anticipated.

That all being said, EA Access netted me:

Aragami
Battlefield 3
Battlefield 4 Premium Edition
Battlefield Hardline
Crysis
Crysis 2 Maximum Edition
Crysis 3
Dead Space
Dead Space 2
Dead Space 3 (which I will admit I only took because it was goddamn free)
Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition
Dragon Age 2
Dragon Age Inquisition Digital Deluxe Edition
Furi
Jade Empire Special Edition
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition
Mass Effect 3 Digital Deluxe Edition
Mirror's Edge
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
Star Wars Battlefront
The Saboteur
Titanfall Deluxe Edition
Unravel

This saves me the trouble of rebuying a good half of the games I own on PS3/4 and Xbox One/360 at significantly higher prices.

That list will only grow too.

All for $5.99 a month.

And I got Syberia II out of their "On The House" channel.
EA may be moral shitstains, but they're GENEROUS moral shitstains.

Wow... This is news. I wasn't expecting that from EA.

Me neither. I half expected EA Access to be overpriced and pathetic like PlayStation Plus but no, the selection of games actually rocks. And like I said, it's actually reasonably priced. Even if you go annual, it costs half as much as Playstation Plus and you get way more stuff out of it.

I guess I'm just waiting at this point to see if EA is gonna spike my prices or something after 6 months. But as it is here, this is actually what subscription gaming SHOULD BE.

Yup. That's why I do not subscribe to PS+.

Return to this thread after 6 months to report if EA jacked up the prices.

I just looked at EA Access, and damn that's pretty amazing. I'm gonna start saving up for the $30 year.

I miss EA extreme games for PSX, one of the best multiplayer racing games next to the likes of Mario Kart!

EA is one of those companies that you'll hate... but they do some good shit too.
Activision on the other hand, worst in every aspect.

By the way Battlefield 3 was free and still good.

Completely out of their element, but the money was good (because licenses and pre-internet) and Still to this day licensed games are rarely given any effort. LJN is an amazing toy company, but once hands changed that rainbow no longer became a symbol of enjoyment.
