Best or favourite? There are plenty I like but as for the "best" it would be a narrow race between Lost Painting and Bloody Tears. Bloody Tears best embodies Castlevania's identity, but as for the most beautifully composed, most emotive I'd go with Lost Painting.

While I have too many favourites, including from the LoS games, for me the most iconic is Bloody Tears.  I particularly have a soft spot for the gothic metal cover, which was the first bit of Castkevania music I ever heard.  It's got a lot of sentimentality for me as a result,

As I said on another post, I'm not great at picking a single favorite...a few songs I especially appreciate are Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears, Clockwork, Sinking Old Sanctuary, Thorny Grave, Renon's Theme, Lost Painting, Wood Carving Partita...I could probably name 3 or 4 more from SotN, so I'll just stop. :-S

Any music in Castlevania Chronicles/Adventure Rebirth, or custom music using SC-55 sound module in Castlevania Chronicles-style (if there's any)/ Adventure Rebirth's sound sample
P.S.: Keep in mind that there's an English promotion video of Castlevania IV. That version of Bloody Tears is Legendary.
