There will never be another 2-D cv on a console. Stop asking why IGA won't do this. He has said AT LEAST 10 times that Konami will not let him do this. So please stop with all the "WTF, why doesn't he just do the 2-D console game everyone wants" Everyone does not want. Some hardcore fans do, and none of the Konami execs.

You make an excellent point. I think Castlevania console games in general are more successful, and much more addicting, than handhel Castlevania titles. If Iga doesn't want to make a 3D console game, why doesn't he try another 2D title for a console? Although, I only have an N64, Gamecube and Wii, so that could be rather disappointing for us Nintendo fans. There's always that Wii-Ware thing I've heard about. They really haven't been very successful selling their Wii-Ware games so far, so maybe Konami could help them by releasing a 2D Wii-Ware game! Then there's always the possibility that they could make a 2D Wii game. 3D games are everywhere though, so the chances of making a new 2D Castlevania title for a console are very slim. All we can do is hope, E Mail, boycott, and form an angry mob that will destroy the world. Okay, maybe that's a bit extreme, but we don't really have much of an impact on Konami's decisions. :(

No you won't, you have a right to say what's on your mind, and I feel this thread can and will be used to do so. I like pie. See? I did it too, and I feel GRRRREAT!!
So, anyway, people(myself included) should stop mindlessly bashing Iga, because he has nothing to with and no control over the majority of all the f*cked up things that happen to CV.

i'd suggest not using the official client, it's ridden with spyware.

aim is a free program, except it has a lot of spyware/adware and other crap that'll slow your pc down and infest it with popups and other shit. it's made to prey off noobs who can't search for ad free version.
that link only gives you a clean version of aim, it's perfectly legal. :o

I honestly don't EXPECT a 2D console game, but I personally would like it. I would prefer Iga get over his fear of 3D and try it again for Wii though. The only reason I say Wii is because that's the only new console system I have! ;D

I also do not expect another 2D console title. People have become really ignorant, and seems they think that if a game is 2D, it automatically sucks. I think a 2.5D console title would be cool though(Super Smash Bros., DXC, like that style).
