Topic: ENOUGH! Why there is no 2-D Console game.

There will never be another 2-D cv on a console.  Stop asking why IGA won't do this.  He has said AT LEAST 10 times that Konami will not let him do this.  So please stop with all the "WTF, why doesn't he just do the 2-D console game everyone wants"  Everyone does not want.  Some hardcore fans do, and none of the Konami execs.

You make an excellent point. I think Castlevania console games in general are more successful, and much more addicting, than handhel Castlevania titles. If Iga doesn't want to make a 3D console game, why doesn't he try another 2D title for a console? Although, I only have an N64, Gamecube and Wii, so that could be rather disappointing for us Nintendo fans. There's always that Wii-Ware thing I've heard about. They really haven't been very successful selling their Wii-Ware games so far, so maybe Konami could help them by releasing a 2D Wii-Ware game! Then there's always the possibility that they could make a 2D Wii game. 3D games are everywhere though, so the chances of making a new 2D Castlevania title for a console are very slim. All we can do is hope, E Mail, boycott, and form an angry mob that will destroy the world. Okay, maybe that's a bit extreme, but we don't really have much of an impact on Konami's decisions.
