They are going to screw over castlevania forever... You know who should make it could be Peter Jackson sounds weird but he did good with LoR so it should fit. And the movie should be endorced by Lucasarts for its good special effect programs and such.

As long as he is just giving some small re-writes to Jeffers awesome script it shouldn't be to bad.  If he pushes his old scrapped script it will be terrible.

It was the one with Trevor, it was very very true to the established canon.  Even had references to Leon, and Trevor refering to Dracula as Mathias.

I liked his other films.  But his cv script was so... un-castlevania.  It was a good story, but not castlevania.

Damn.  Just when I was thinking about watching the movie.  Now we'll have a original character that completely steals the entire spotlight while Trevor or Simon- or which ever Belmont they decide to put in it, comments on how 'awesome' that character is and how they 'wish' they were that good.  Death will probably have a gun. (If he's in it.) And we *may* see the whip.  May.

Anderson had Simon as the lead.  But it was in Chris's time period.  He used a sword.  And he was the first to fight Dracula.  Just the same names, but a different story.  Cool story, but not Castlevania.
