I can't believe how this hasn't come up yet.

Well, the story starts with an ambitious 15 year old boy named Richard, more known as Damp

Sounds like someone couldn't handle the pressure. Kinda pathetic.

I dunno, I think it's more pathetic that there even was pressure in that situation. I mean it was the kid's hobby, not something he was doing for a living. He shouldn't have had to worry about any feelings of pressure in that situation. I think the people around him are just as much to blame for how lame that situation was.

I also heard R.D. from Wrestlecrap.com did one of these, until he popped back up on the radio show. I guess they just wanted to joke with people...

...Kinda like when Ric Flair was the "Jobber of the Week" on April Fools Day on year.

Yeah, I mean how lame is that? Couldn't he just say that he's tired with the project and that he's not going on? wow

I mean he was obviously trying to keep from letting people down. I probably wouldn't have gone the fake death route personally, but I can kind of understand where his mindset was at. I mean at least he almost had a reason to do it. Normally people do that shit just to get attention. He was doing it to get out of a project that he didn't want to continue on, without having to deal with tons of people complaining about it. If it would have worked out for him it would have been mission accomplished.
