Title: The Adults Only Thread (disclaimer inside)
Post by: Lumi Kløvstad on June 11, 2016, 09:49:36 PM
Some ground rules for this thread: given the nature of this forum, and given that Jorge and the mods are horrible prudes who don't like awesome things like boobie pics reasonable individuals with well thought out rules and guidelines to keep this forum a relatively public-viewing safe environment, please be tasteful with any linked pics and make sure that naughty bits are covered, keep your descriptions decent or spoiler-tagged, and generally don't do things that would get you banned. Furthermore, just assume that any and all links posted here probably contain material you don't want either your boss or a ten year old to see, and so take care how and where you choose to click on them.

With that out of the way, I am kind of curious to see what sort of heavily airquoted "adult" stuff the over 18's have on this forum (or whatever the legal age of adulthood is where you live). Talk honestly about adultish topics here, and let your metaphorical hair down a bit.

I myself have been a longtime fan of fetish and glam model Bianca Beauchamp and recently bought a VIP subscription at her website to keep on supporting her career (my days of freeloading on torrent sites are done) and recently noted that while she doesn't pass herself off as much of a cosplayer, I'd love to see her do Castlevania after seeing the AMAZINGLY HOT Vampirella cosplay she did in 2014.

Preview image from that photo-shoot safely ensconced within the following spoiler tag.
(click to show/hide)

Seeing her do the Symphony of the Night Succubus (with her frequently firebrand red hair and curvy figure, who else would Bianca cosplay?!) would tick so many boxes for me.
Having a fellow model be Maria Renard in that shoot would probably tick some of Super Waffle's boxes too.

And besides, it's not like naughty cosplay isn't a thing guys. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baP6sspvts0)

Given her bust, waist and that Amazonian transition between abs>p***y>thighs (the diamond shape) I could see her doing Nell from Bleach and maybe Matsumoto.

Given her natural look I'd also say Rogue from the Uncanny Xmen, like she was in the 90's cartoon.

I already know this thread is heading to Locked territory because the nudie bits will become more and more exposed until there are nothing but 16x16px smilies covering them up.
This has happened before.
You know it's Summer in the USA when these threads start to pop up.

As there is no age control on this thread, I could see it going downhill very fast. You all know I'm not an adult, but I obviously don't mind adult topics and discussion.

Here's my little story for you guys. Hope it's not too colorful.

So I finally found a new girl. She's a cute chubby little readhead. At the beginning I had doubts, wasn't sure she's my type.
Because she's short and chubby, and I usually prefer tall girls. But she has beautiful eyes and she's really cute and pretty.
Anyway, first time we got to bed, I couldn't satisfy her. She said that it's okay, that's it's difficult for her because she's shy and none of her exes managed to satisfy her either. This made me a little worried. But I set myself to try harder.

The second time, I worked really hard with her, and managed. She moaned like crazy to the point that I even found it a little embarrasing. In the end, she was really happy and grateful. I don't remember feeling so manly before. Thinking about it, I believe it's actually good that she isn't really my type, and I don't find her "super-hot"; because I'm not overexcited with her, I'm quite calm and that improves my performance.
She's so chill and sweet. Lovely little redhead. Very different from my ex, in all the good ways. Maybe I'm slowly falling for her.

That was... a little more detail than I had in mind.

Okay a lot more.

I'm currently watching Barbarella as I've never seen it and I am totally digging that her (pink!) ship's interior is made entirely of shag carpet. Also, the entire opening credits is a stripshow. THis has not gone unappreciated. Seriously guys, Jane Fonda was hot as hell back in the day.

Also Jorge, I totally feel your concern. I'm just kind of hoping this thread makes it four weeks without getting that far.

"Adult" huh? So how do you guys like your coffee, black or with some cream and sugar? I usually take it black if it's Folgers brand but just about anything else eats my stomach up, unless I load it down with lots of cream, sometimes even then. Coffee is more a tool for waking up/staying awake though in my opinion. For a relaxing sip I prefer tea. Don't think you can really appreciate the bitterness inherent in either drink before your tastes mature a little with age though.

Speaking of beverages you can only appreciate with age, what are your favorite alcoholic drinks? Don't drink much myself, though there's nothing like a refreshing ice cold beer on a hot summer day. I remember enjoying Mickey's Malt Liquor years ago but I'd have to try it again before I could recommend it. Bourbon is ok but not really for me since it doesn't refresh you, just gets you drunk and is like drinking smokey (and sour, depending on the brand) mouthwash.
Title: Re: The Adults Only Thread (disclaimer inside)
Post by: Dracula9 on June 13, 2016, 10:22:07 PM
I take my coffee black--add literally anything and I can't drink it. All the super-sweet caramel-chocolate-loaded whipped-cream topped things that somehow still pass as "coffee" are for the weak, dammit! But then again, I tend to go the extra mile and stick to imported blends (generally I prefer Costa Rican, Cuban, Nicaraguan, Peruvian, Kenyan, Rwandan, and Ecuadorian blends, to name a few)--ideally fair-trade if I can get my hands on it, though this isn't often the case. Blue Mountain is a pretty damn fine blend as far as big commercial brands. I think my preference to black coffee (as well as my joking ripping on the fancier preparation methods, but that's mostly because I physically have trouble drinking sweet coffee, my gag reflex hates the stuff) has more to do with me simply having a preference for well-balanced blends and roasts that don't particularly need anything added to them. A lot of my South American blends have sweetness and nuttiness and sometimes chocolate-flowery tones depending on what brand and blend--don't even need to add anything to it at that point.

Tea I much prefer as a more everyday drink since I have far more options as far as taste/temperature/combination than I do with coffee, since I can only take coffee black and hot--though as time wears on and I find myself watching a little more what I intake I'm favoring taking my teas just as they are without sugar--I'll sweeten with honey or milk more often than not. Earl Grey with milk is my essence of life, as are minted yerba mate and lemon-licorice teas.

AS FOR BOOZE

Love me a good hard cider--really doesn't even matter the brand, I've enjoyed all the ones I've tried for different reasons. Woodchuck and Strongbow are my go-to picks at the moment, though. I enjoy a good scotch now and then, but I am a bit picky and much prefer to go top-shelf wherever possible--cheap or too-young scotch is just awful.

Being an enjoyer of scotch, I do have a similar and occasional fondness for good bourbon--being from Kentucky, it's not much of a surprise. But I can very much agree with your sentiment of smokey mouthwash if, like scotch, it's a low-shelf brand or age.

I have to be honest--I'm still waiting on the "a nice good cold beer is refreshing as hell" part of drinking the stuff. I've tried many a beer, and the only ones I can really stand and enjoy are the very dark ones--dunkels, Guiness, etc. Lighter beers I'm beginning to warm to, as I know it's a taste one has to grow to enjoy, but it is a bit of having to force myself to finish one once I open it.

It kinda sucks, honestly--here I am with the natural Irish/German/Nordic/Scottish tolerance, but I'm too thin of frame and too high of metabolism for it to actually do me any good! I'd be better off in this regard if I didn't absolutely loathe being really drunk (or any state of mind where my wits and body control drop off--I hate being sober of mind but sloppy of body), but I don't have much longer before my metabolism slows down if I'm anything like my folks.

I gotta root for my home state brewers, Alaskan Brewing Co. here.

If y'all ever get the chance, try the Alaskan Amber. It's far and away my favorite beer, although Midnight Sun Brewing Co. churns out great stuff by the barrel. For non-beers, I LOVE mead like nobody's business and my favorite meadery is Dansk Mjød. It's not cheap stuff (around $30 a bottle) and I'm not a fan of their Hibiscus blend, but their other meads are amazing.

Second place goes to another hometown favorite, Celestial Meads, just for their sheer selection. Also because they are totally based in my hometown.

I'm past the point of adult,  I'm into middle age.  ;D

I don't booze much these days, no time for it, and I don't like getting plastered anymore as it takes too long to recover. But a little whiskey or vodka now and again in moderate amounts, and it's all good. But I won't overdo it, the more I drink, the more I want to drink, and I can't have that.

Also Freddy, that sounds like lines from some women's romance novel dude, that's the kind of stuff you keep between a trusted buddy and yourself. :P

Same here on all points. I never realized that a 2-day hangover was a thing until several years ago. Even just 2 drinks can mess with my sleep.

Between that, and this 6-month bout of bursitis in my shoulder, getting old is really becoming a pain in the ass. And for the last time, get off my lawn, you young punks!

Coffee = black is best especially if it is freshly brewed from the coffeemaker during meetings cuz it's free~ hahaha.
I still prefer tea over coffee though.

As for booze, any dark beer is good for me.

I do teas. No alcohol and no coffee  :P  I've tried the occasional beer, scotch, etc, but no, it ain't for me. coffee just has a smell and taste that don't jive with me. So I won't do coffee products. A good tall mug of tea will do me just fine though. I usually take my tea black. Especially Earl Gray. Egyptian Licorice is also a lovely tea to drink. Rooibos is another that I've acquired a taste for. When I was young I started out with Orange Pekoe with added milk and suger. But the most tea that I've been drinking for years is Japanese Green Tea. Especially when it's traditionally made. It's got a flavor like nothing else. That, and there's the health benefits too  :)  I've had white tea which I've heard is extremely healthy, but It is like drinking hot water. There's almost no flavor to enjoy.

Which is finally legal in my state.

My hometown wanted to add a $35 per ounce TAX to it though to keep it functionally prohibited, but we gave the city council hell for that and they backed down, but they're still trying to pull a bunch of red tapey B.S to keep actual businesses from taking off. It's really sad because Alaska needs the money all over -- oil just ain't what it used to be and Cannabis Sativa L. is an amazingly multi-purpose crop beyond simply getting people stoned.

I don't drink racist coffee (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APyr48GACzc).
...
...okay, I do.  Generally I at least prefer some cream, if not a little sugar too.  I'm a sucker for peppermint mocha though, so I usually just use a little of that flavor creamer.

Alcohol...I'm a softie I guess since I don't care for hard liquor.  A bit of Sake is nice..."sweet" wines...the "fruity/girly" drinks most dudes won't drink because it "isn't manly" or whatever.  ;-P

Not one for the smoking of anything though, personally.  It just doesn't get along well with the asthma.

Except that stuff stinks when it's smoked. No offense to those who enjoy a good doobie, but man I can't stand the smell of it for the life of me. Although if people wanted to get the high without smoking it then they should simply eat it. That way they aren't ruining the air quality for the rest of us whom don't like the smell, or are allergic to the smoke. Again, no offense.

Ugh. This kind of reminds me of the whole FDA fiasco that the vaping industry is facing now. (Not to downplay marijuana by comparing it to vaping, but I digress.) If the regulations stand, and big tobacco is the only entity that will be able to afford staying in the industry, then I'll be infuriated. Especially since my wife finally found a job that she loves (manager of a vape shop).

The vaping thing really rubs me the wrong way. We finally have a cancer-free alternative to smoking (I will never give up my tradition of Victory Cigars though), and Big Tobacco and Anti-Big Tobacco seem to be in cahoots to shut it down.

Apparently, if you must have nicotine, it must come with a heaping side of lung cancer.

That just doesn't sit right with me.

I never liked Rooibos, the scent is good but the taste seems lacking. Earl Grey is delicious along with other black teas. Green teas are also good but I prefer them without milk or sugar. My ultimate favorite green tea goes to Genmaicha.
I have never tried white tea. Well now that you've described it, I might as well shy away from it.

Well don't shy away from it. Give it a try for yourself and see? Who knows, you might actually taste something. I also don't put milk and sugar in my green tea. That's partially what I meant when I said traditionally made.

For me, that 30-43 range is where I find most women just become absolutely gorgeous. This is helped by the fact that they're not carrying the stresses to be "hot" like they did in their teens and twenties and instead just opt for being themselves, which I find beautiful as well.

So drinking isn't much of an option.  And I don't have time for much porn.  My wife and I both work full time, opposite schedules.  This means when I'm not working, I taking care of my kid.  So I can't do a lot of the things I used to find fun.  I like playing games, and my kid likes pushing the power button right before I get to that save point.  I like playing guitar, and my kid likes pulling on guitar strings til they snap.  I like painting, and my kid likes to eat the canvas and dump the paint on the carpet.

Caffeine, on the other hand, is mandatory.  I hate being hooked on anything, but I don't have much of a choice.  Because my kid doesn't like to sleep, and if I sleep while he's up, he'll find a way to burn the house down.

This, apparently, is adult life.

As well as his wallet and pants if he's lucky..

Totally agree. I also find despite hashtags such as hot and fit etc, women are also more insecure in general (not a blanket statement to all women) and tend to radiate to people who share/ feed those insecurities. 30's are where it's at. Even in my 20's I was attracted to 30 year olds and even dated a couple.

I'm married and have a 4 year old daughter.

My wife works part time and I work full time as a union carpenter.

Typical day I get up at 5am, get home from work at 4pm. Play with my kid until dinner around 6, do the dishes, get my daughter ready for bed. As soon as she's in bed, usually around 10, I work on the soundtrack for CV Lecarde Chronicles 2 for an hour or two, get to bed around midnight, sleep for 4 to 5 hours, repeat.

I live on coffee.

It's an insane schedule and I have to make sacrifices to my health to make it work. But I wouldn't trade it for the world.

My daughter is an angel, and even though it can be difficult when she wants me to take her to the park when I'm physically exhausted, or when she spills her milk the second I sit down to eat my dinner, I realize that when she's grown up I'll miss the times she needed her daddy and wanted me with her all the time.

It is an incredibly difficult life being a parent and husband, but it's also incredibly rewarding.

This, apparently, is adult life.
It is an incredibly difficult life being a parent and husband, but it's also incredibly rewarding.
We are the lucky ones man. No one needs to feel sorry for us.

This.  All of this.  And I wouldn't trade even the tiniest part of it either!

I'd take my mini van with a DVD player pre loaded with kiki's delivery service and my daughter in the back seat over a Porsche any day.

Funny thing is I used to drive a 2 seater Mazda rx7. I was way into Japanese sports cars. But I bought a new mini van for my band to your with long before I ever had a kid and came to really love the comfort and usability of it. I actually stopped driving sports cars and started driving a Mazda mpv by choice. I haven't been pulled over by cop since.

You people and your sports cars and roomy minivans. :p I just got myself a used (106,000 miles) Toyota Corolla. Livin' the high life in a cramped $2,500 vehicle. At least the gas mileage is really good, and I should be able to pull off some of the good parts from my old Geo Prizm.

I drive a 2005 GMC Canyon.

It's old and arthritic, there are bits that have fallen off years ago and never gotten replaced, but dammit, when I hear that engine purr, I stop wanting a sports car immediately. The Canyon's my Old Faithful.

Is it an AE86? I couldn't help it. ;D

Pretty much yeah I'd say. At a certain point things deemed "adult" pass from the alluring and risque to the mundane. It helps that we can't really talk about those more risque things though XD.

But for a serious answer to a joke question: Purely from a demographics perspective it's likely we're mostly past the early-20s stage of adulthood. Let's say someone jumped onboard with the series with Order of Ecclesia, which I think we could say was more or less the last new game likely to develop an interest in the older series lore and games for someone playing it. If they were 16 when they got the game they'd be 24 now, or 28 if they got the game when they were 20. And I think it likely that most hardcore fans of the series got onboard with earlier games than that.

It's not that Castlevania gameplay hasn't stood the test of time, the best (and arguably even the mediocre) entries in the series have timeless gameplay. Easily as timeless as something like Mario. It's just that it hasn't been marketed properly in so long.

Well said Ratty.
I have a feeling we'd have lesser and lesser young'uns as time passes.
Unless, Bloodstained does it's job of luring kids to revisit the older IGA-related titles.

Now, can we go back to talking about cars?  ;)

Just on cars I read Jorge's post and they had a brand new Honda civic on display next to where I work. Looks pretty sweet imo.

I'm shopping for used cars essentially as we speak -- the Canyon's... not having a good time and it's worth checking into replacements sooner rather than later when I may noty even have a primary vehicle.

I need to sell my Mitsubishi Lancer 2005. It's a good and reliable car, I had it for around 3 years now. But it drinks fuel quickly and it seems like it gets less fuel-efficient as time passes, this annoys me. I hope to sell it this year and buy a more fuel-efficient car.

Dear GOD I want a Tesla car. Not very feasible for Alaska though -- it's a LOOOOOOONG way between towns the further out from Anchorage you get.

I have an 08 Ford Ranger that I bought from my dad, and I lllllooove it. Never really entertained the idea of owning a truck before, but having a small pickup is perfect for me: I can use it to haul work materials/trash/etc., 4wd comes in handy in the snow, and it's still easy to park vs. a full size. I don't think I ever want to go back to a passenger car again. I just wish Rangers were never discontinued.  :(
