Title: question about SOTN ending (spoilers?)

I always assumed that the inverted castle destroyed the normal one (and before knowing about it, thought that God or some divine power did it). Never thought too much about why.
Maybe because both are connected some crazy supernatural thing happens? Also I already thought that this light must be the same light that hits/comes out Dracula after you defeat him, so this can be symbolical because what Dracula says at the end.
I also think that they only thought it would be cool and less expensive to do it like this, since they use the same ending every time and it hides the inverted castle lol

I always felt that the castle 'cannibalized' upon itself due to having unstable power when Dracula, and Shaft, were defeated in the inverted one :P

I assumed the physical base of the castle crumbles into ruin while the chaos component recedes into the abyss along with Dracula.
It's also possible they were trying to impress us with the awesomeness of 3D graphics by 1996 standards.

Wait, what? They still do UFO endings? Thats nice. Imagine if instead of dog/UFO endings, Castlevania had duck endings? There is a plenty scattered in the franchise anyway.
