it’s interesting hearing Iga call Soma a foreign exchange student.  i always thought that was just a localization.

it’s interesting hearing Iga call Soma a foreign exchange student.  i always thought that was just a localization.

And it is. For some reason the translator saw fit to add a bunch of stuff that is not present on the original Japanese interview. In there IGA says exactly what we're all tired of knowing about Soma being a Japanese native in Japan. He only adds that is was his choice that Soma be a foreigner in the West so western players would relate to him.

At the very least you'd think he would have made Soma look the part of a foreigner. Ah well, eventually DoS got to doing that.
