No way dude. Balloon Fight is one of the greatest games of all time.

There are other games on the list more expendable than Ballon Fight.

As Ratty pointed out, Pac Man and Galaga- nothing different from a ton of plug n plays. Get those outta here instead lol! Plus I forgot: Balloon Fight was the first game Iwata had programmed, correct? In that case, Balloon Fight should be a keeper :)

So with the announcement of the Famicom Mini in Japan, d'ya suppose it'll have the cartridge or FC Disk version of Akumajou Dracula? The latter would be cool with its save feature.

The box art in the video (skip to 2:00 for relevant footage) shows the Disk System logo so I assume it'll be the original version.

Probably won't get one unless you can plug Wii Classic Controllers into it like you can the NES Mini/Classic Edition, because the Famicom Mini comes with hard-wired and extremely tiny Famicom controllers, so that they can dock onto the sides of the system like with the original Famicom. Sounds like a pain in the ass to play with but kinda cute nonetheless. I'd have preferred accurate Famicom controller replicas acting as Wii Classic Controllers, because that'd be a lot more fun to use with the rounded edges as opposed to the boxy NES style.
Oh yeah, and also:

It's nice to see old tech still relevant in Japan, but sadly not so much over here. My sister's getting that NES re-release with the games already on it for her kids.

Its a sort of thing that would be cool when you go out in a trip but doesnt want to get cartridges or CDs with you along with a console (okay, nowadays almost everything is digital or on cloud, but let me dream please)

Out, and impossible to find. Probably won't be able to get one until a few months into next year. I mostly just really, really want the controller for two-button Virtual Console games.

Only 80k on ebay. It's ridiculous, my Xbox has about 10,000 games backed up into it through emulators. I should be a millionaire

Quite literally the reason I want one of them.

Nintendo says they're going to do their best to get a regular shipment out for them, but this just seems to be Amiibo all over again.

This thing is selling like hotcakes.
It's sold out everywhere and keeps on crashing its purchase in Amazon.

So anyone saying that retro games aren't too appealing clearly isn't seeing this thing smacking the crap out everything on sale since yesterday when it came out.

If only it had an expandable digital library through the Nintendo shop!

Nintendo could be releasing new NES games and they would probably sell better than Wii U games or anything else.

NES is timeless and is the king.

Absolutely, and I felt that this was a wasted opportunity. Imagine this NES/Famicom machine with the entire game library on it. Including some of those obscure games that never made it over here. Easily done with today's storage capacity. THAT would be the s**t and I would definitely get one.

They at least added info about some townspeople being pranksters/liars to the electronic manual, but it lacks a lot of ino from the printed version. Also no CV2 JP manual? No "Dracula 2" on Mini FC?
