This might already be known to most of ya'll; the similarities are abundantly clear, the Chaconne probably being the most beautiful and powerful classical transcription I've heard. hear for yourselves.
J.S. Bach - BWV 582 - Passacaglia c-moll / C minor (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ie52xH8V2L4#)
Dracula X NitM ost : Chaconne in C Moll (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BapQXrhSpQo#)

Yeap That's one of my favorite CV tunes. Loved and wish the Cursed Dungeon in NitM lived up to that song more.
-
Michiru Yamane has Bach as one of her musical influences.
-
Chaconne was composed by Kaoru Okada & Youichi Iwata though.
-
Most likely they were influenced by Bach too.
-
It's a great composition.
Castlevania has always been similar to Bach in chord progressions, arrangements...
That's what they need to have in mind every time they make a new game.
Some recent people involved in recent games doesn't seem to understand that.
CV music MUST be neoclassical and baroque inspired in order to sound like it should.

This song is amazing; kind of odd to see it in an action platforming game, but it's quality canNOT be denied. Hence why I will be keeping it in the engine. :)

btw does anyone have the sheet music for this piece?
-
Atleast in the video they show the actual sheet, if no one finds one better a "print screen" option exists. lol
