After how well my sonic 3d blast boss 2 turned out, I applied the same process to castlevania, the sound, seems mixed between retro with some modern in the background still >.> have a listen, warning maybe a tad loud from youtube conversion, this maybe my last syth song as ive learned how to make music on genesis hardware now

Good stuff there, man. Liking it.
If a man chooses, and a slave obeys, then what are you if you choose to obey?

I have some files that are in this style, but I don't want to take over your thread.

Plus, you'd be actually programming them for the YM2612, whereas I'm only using samples from its older brother, the YM2608 (used by the PC-98) as well as some other samples.

I am totally looking forward to what you come up with! :D

well I got the idea cause of this sonic mod: Sonineko, one of the themes in it is Vampire Killer
its a sonic 1 mod, so the drums should be from sonic 1 if im correct not 2, but this was the inspiration to make me want to learn the genesis sound system, would be nice for more homebrew games to have more chiptunes :)
