It was good. the only things which bothered me was the OVA. Everything important to the plot's ending was already developed and explained by the end of the series, the OVA was more of a gag episode which offered nothing to the series itself. It would have been better if this had explained why/ how Angel had

developed her specific skills like handsonic and guardsonic etc or why she was already there when Otonashi fell into their world at a later time (unless time doesn't apply to the afterlife)

because these elements were never explained.

Engaged by my jaunt through the eight-episode Black*Rock Shooter.  It's a nifty psychological action-drama with some nice 2D-looking-3D battles.  These take place in a parallel reality, reminding me a bit of Suckerpunch; as that awesome film's fantasy battles merely skirt the situations playing out, BRS' fights are more directly tied to its present reality. 

I heard something about Black*Rock Shooter being based on a shmup.

Hayate no Gotoku, another parody anime, this one with a few season of episodes to get through (first season is the longest at 52, other seasons average 13 episodes).


It even has Norio Wakamoto as it's narrator, instant win.

Norio Wakamoto's the Nate Dogg of voiceover: anything he's in (such as JPN SotN) is a WINNER.  Black*Rock Shooter was a pit stop on my way through Cowboy Bebop wherein he plays a significant role...and hangs out with A SLOGRABIRD!!!

I have no idea how the release of it a few weeks ago escaped my attention until today, but OMG the Little Witch Academia tv series is out!  It's wonderful.  It's a reboot away from the continuity of the two movies, but it's wonderful.  I'm in the middle of mini-binging the first four episodes that are out so far.  I love this series to bits, it's very remniscent of The Worst Witch series by Jill Murphy in some ways, especially in the main protagonist the clumsy, not very knowledeable Akko, and her rivalry to brilliant and somewhat haughty Diana, who parallel Mildred and Ethel in WW.  It's got a dash of Harry Potter about it as well, and in the first film especially, there are references to D&D dungeon crawlers.  I'm seriously happy that it's earnt its own tv series, the two films are just so magical and charming.

Rewrite 2nd season is Kinda... Waaaaay beyond my imagination. I'm interested what kind of thing the Anime-only route would become. Heard there're huge amount of scenes being cut down/trimmed, wish them (anime designer) good luck.
Yet to watch Little Busters but my time table is gaming-first (Watched about 6 episodes, yet to check clips on YouTube)


I'll retire from front line of speed running/expert gaming and turn to "inner world" due to several questions, and real life problem (accident of sudden) if thing are getting the worse case.

Last week I finished The Perfect Anime for the first time: Cowboy Bebop.

I'm having to watch the series elsewhere, as in my country Netflix only has the two movies, but I've heard that Netflix is supposedly streaming the series in some places (I'm annoyed at them not streaming it here).  The first four episodes are glorious.  All I can say is Akko and training wheels. XD  I'm really glad that they've kept the same VAs as well.

Hayate no Gotoku, finished the first season with 52 episodes, but it strays from the manga after episode 19, the rest is all fun filler. Season 2, where I currently am, picks the story back up from the manga.

About 2 weeks back I watched Evangelion 3.33 Q, that was my favourite one of the three yet.

Really.  It was a tremendous letdown when I first saw it, but as I came to better understand Anno's repertoire in the years since, I've warmed up to it.  The dub helped shed some light on the story, too, which is major since I'm all-subs all the time.

What did you enjoy about 3.33?
