I love the colors of the gears. The game has so much better texture than any of the new graphics made for the DS titles, barring maybe some backgrounds in OoE and the snow in DoS. The tile usage is just phenomenal and getting all that architecture into it. unf.
My only complaints would be directed at level design, but it's at a pretty early stage and they haven't implemented everything.
I love Thaddeus, he's so good at using black. Well, that's kinda required for a NES game, but everywhere, his use of dark colors is just superb. His 16 bit stuff is so muted yet holds so much clear and crisp detail~
aaaaaaaaaa

Is Thaddeus still around? I haven't really seen him.

Anyway, that second vid is pretty awesome. I like how the town was designed... definitely don't remember that in the old Simon's Quest if it were.

Do want, too. Even willing to pay, or make a donation for such great work..

The Simon sprite reminds me of Gabriel, with the pointy looking shoulder pads. Looks great, and I love the outdoor musics, especially at night.

That's awesome but I prefer the original music.

I think it's intended to match more of the original artwork with the armor than the initial sprite. :P

The game looks great, but I don't like that the music was changed.

There are no replacements for Message of Darkness and Bloody Tears.  :P
