OK. I'm gonna work on it a little bit more. I just want to add a more fluid stair climbing animation so it doesn't reuse a frame where the leg positions look ambiguous.

Hi im new im not really sure how to go about this stuff but I made Mathias Cronqvest Sprites and im looking for feedback.

I like the general shape of the sprite, specifically the one with the brown tunic and the white top.
However, you appear to be using a few more colors than normal (24 colors exist in the brown sprite), as well as a lot of off-white, so because of that it seems to look a little too pasty.  I get that he's supposed to be already undead/nearly-undead since he's got the Crimson Stone, but there's still too much of similar 'gray' colors in there.

On the other sprites, there are too many off-blacks, and 20 colors.  There are probably a few too many off-blacks that you can probably just omit and still have a nice, detailed sprite.

Lastly, the green/brown mandle colors on the top, in the spot near the crimson stone... that looks like it's missing some definition.  I know you're following the artwork but when you go into sprite mode it's a good idea to make good solid lines rather than use a dithering mesh of colors like that.

That's all I have to say.  I'm not a professional but I think it's sound advice.

Not at this moment. Don't got a lot of time to be doing any sprite/music/game/etc. work.

I'll try, but I'm not on a computer very often right now.

Someone on DeviantArt asked me whether the Portait of Ruin whipping sprites (and whip sprites) are different than the ones for Richter in Symphony...
...and if so, if there's a spritesheet for them available.
(I realize Jonathan is completely different than Richter but I'm not so sure about the actual whip animations)

I know we have a few people playing around with PoR's graphics.  If you have the whipping sprites for Jonathan from that game, would you put them here, please?
Thanks in advance.

Also, I updated the forum banner to show some more characters.

I just remembered that i made a CV styled sprite sometime back.

This was actually based on the character you play as in a CV clone i've played though little did i know was that she's actually a generic character class in ragnarok online (didn't stop me from making this single sprite though). was thinking of making a full sprite sheet but it'd be useless since i doubt anyone would use it.

so how does it look?

I'm fond of the hair color and the pose.  Is she looking down at the floor though?  Does she wear glasses?
You don't need that many pinks on the hair, or those two (three?) shades of off-black, though.
