I had no idea i'd feel so old at 24. Also I had pizza and beer and it was great. The actual highlight of my evening was getting a ton of socks because 98% of my socks has disappeared.

Cungrabulayshunz on tha sox.
Also, "feeling old" in one's 20s is cliched and kinda bogue.
-
Happy Birthday!
Here's to all the socks you could ever ask for.

Sex is like pizza; when it's good, it's really fucking good. But when it's bad, it's still pretty good! Cheers! :D

Happy birthday! :)

Don't remind me, I'm just a few days away from my 24th birthday.

Happy Birthday!
ow... don't remind me of your ages, you guys are making me feel older. hehehehe.
-
Washing machines are evil devices which swallow each time a single sock out of a pair. You have no way to fight it.
-
Happy birthday!! A few months ago, i became 31 and believe me, i wish that i could be your age, also don't worry about socks, it happens all the time with me :P
-
Happy birthday. I just kissed the girl I'm head over heels for. It was all because it was your birthday.
-
24 old? Speak to me when you are in your late 30's, then we'll talk about starting to grow old. :P
-
Happy birthday beingthehero. :) Try not to worry about how old you feel when you're only 24. Technically you still have six years before you have 1/3d of your life over with. I'm only 33 but it's kinda funny in a way. I feel old but at the same time I feel like a kid (not in the good way mind you as I don't have all that expendable kid energy). So for me it feels like I'm stuck in limbo and I don't really know what to do about it, let alone how to interpret it.

Thanks for the wishes fellow Dungeonites. I thought I was among the older members, I had no idea so many were older than me. Bless you geezers, now I feel young again. :')

And then come back in your 50's after Grand Crossing a dark barrier in and then you can REALLY gripe about how getting old sucks :P

Oh I already know that feeling already, get out of bed and things hurt on your body you didn't even know could hurt.

Sounds like you need to get into shape there, BR. :p

You're not the only one who thinks that, I do as well. I started with some light walking (1 and 1/4th mile) on one day I was off a week, trouble is I'm on my feet all day (that counts for the foot and knee pain, 18 years of walking on concrete will destroy your feet and knees eventually) and when it comes time to walk, the pain decides to kick in. But I'll keep at it till I'm doing over 2 miles, maybe try getting a bike again to bike my legs back into shape (when I was in school, it was common of me to bike 20 miles or more a day just for shits and giggles, or to visit friends).
My back aches are from years of lifting shit, that takes a toll on your back eventually. Not the best picture of health right now, but far from the worst. Need to also cut down on the soda intake, that stuff right there can leave you feeling drained.
-
I thought your back aches came from years of hunching over Gradius arcade cabinets
-
No, there was never one of those cabinets around here. I had my exposure to the series via NES and SNES. I own much better ports of the arcade titles these days, mainly picking them up the last 10 years or so (after MAME-ing some versions awhile).
-
I hear ya on the soda. I've got a big ol' gut from slamming down cheap Walmart root beer about five years ago and it hasn't gone away since--probably because I still drink soda on a regular basis and rarely exercise. :p I gotta get STUDLY.

Yeah the bike will definitely be a LOT easier on your knees. I was born with some knee trouble, to the point that bending down after doing retail for several years results in audible cracks and trouble standing back up. The doctor didn't even want me on the bike, but said if I had to lose some weight exercising the bike would do it. He was right about that.
