Mwhahahahahaha! I have to write this down while it is still fresh.
There was an Artplay booth at a local gaming convention today (go to the Bloodstained social media feeds to know where it is).
And IGA was there with his whip and cowboy hat!
Japanese language does come in handy. :) Whew~
I brought a few stuff with me for autographs including my Gebel cross stitch. IGA loved it and even took a picture holding the work with me beside him. I told him this was already shown in the tumblr post and I think he recognized it. He said he'll upload it on twitter, but I don't know if it will push through or not. Someone post the link here if ever it appears.
Anyway, The more important thing is that he remembered me, by my online name, of course! OMG!
It was way back then when he's still in Konami and I congratulated him on his i-revo blog regarding DoS winning something from E3. I think had a post somewhere here about it. #fangirlmoments
I told him the existence of this forum and he knew about us from the community clan. He told me that he might not have the time to visit. I hope he finds the time. I also told him that I translated Kabuchi no Tsuisokyouku in English and he was happy that I did.
Finally I told him that I'd be supporting his work and he told me that he'd do his best.
I wasn't able to play the demo but I was able to watch IGA play. He finished it without getting any hits, which is true to his principle.
On things other than Bloodstained. I played the FFXV demo. Its been 10 years and I still have a crush on Noct.

Oh my goodness, Shiroi! :D <3 That's amazing! So THAT'S WHO you were meeting, no wonder you were asking me about con etiquette on how much you could take to get signed! That's absolutely amazing that he's remembered you as well! :D I'm going to stalk the Bloodstained facebook page and twitter now to see if I can spot a photo of you two. I'm rather jealous now! :D I'm absolutely bouncing for you right now. If I see the photo, I'll send the link your way or send you a file of it if it's on fb-land.
I really hope that he can in person visit us lot on here. :D

I also surprised myself by staying sane all throughout the encounter. Although I fangirl-ed when he mentioned that he remembered me.
I held the mighty VK whip, care of IGA. He brought 2 of them. :)
Regarding how IGA plays... like a veteran player who knows the appropriate timing for attacking/jumping and the proper sequence of traversing the rooms. He's not a speed runner though, so Miriam just moves normally.
My internet is crappy today. I might upload the pics tomorrow.

lol! The mighty VK whip is metal, not leather. If anything it's more like holding the whip of Indiana Jones. But each to their own preferences.

He has the right since he can do a no damage play. I still want to see him as a secret boss that would kick our asses in game.

WOW! Very cool Shiroi and congratulations on the fantastic embroidery piece. Very very well done! Must have been really awesome to finally meet IGA!
Also, on a side note, were you by chance "in the know" about Bloodstained prior to the Sword or Whip days? In the early thread chatting with Jorge, I seem to remember your name coming up... Apologies if I am totally wrong here..

As you see, there are actually 2 Marias in that picture, in the Earth-1 crisis, she is a magical girl who wears a skirt, which are in correlation in Rondo, she grows up to be the Maria in the Playstation and PSP SoTN, where she never fully tapped into her power.
Earth-2 Maria spawns from a slight pitch, causing her to be more tomboyish and wearing the superior bike-shorts, following the events of D-XX, she grows up to be Saturn SOTN maria, not being strong enough to fight dracula the first time, she becomes the only other JoJo character in Castlevania.
Earth 2 comes from St. Germain's time-fuckery in CoD, which involved him trying to find the source of these new events, which would be the "Chaos Maker" or "That Man", Once he figured out Dracula's source of power, he immediately devised a plan to destroy him, only problem is only a Belmont can do the job and due to recent constant resurrections making holes in the timeline, and wearing down the bloodline's charge to the Vampire Killer, St. Germain Teamed up with Alucard who just killed Ritcher in his timeline, devised a plan to seperate Belmont's from the whip long enough to fight a full powered dracula, which involves Maria, since she's so powerful in Earth-2, she can help.
