I really want to get my hands on Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night; I heard these are part of a game called Dracula X Chronicles? I might go with that, even though I don't have my PSP on hand anymore ;_;

If you have a PSVita or PS4 you can download The Dracula X Chronicles. I'd recommend it.

Really? I'd love to get it on PS4, but I did a quick google and I'm not seeing anything about that. Only PSP/PSVita.

Hmm... Well if it's not available for the PS4 then try the Vita. That's if you have one of course.

Update: close to a year after I made this thread, I finally beat Vampire Killer MSX. Honestly, after how tedious that was, I don't regret Save State Spamming my way to victory. Even doing that, it was plenty annoying.

Check another one off the list for me!
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Congratz! I've never gotten past stage II. And if you feel the need to save state, then I say go for it. There's no shame in putting a game in its place.
