Seeing all of those clipped together (somehow) kinda reminded me of how Chihiro's dad walks through the tunnel at the beginning and end of Spirited Away.  (Sadly, I cannot find a clip of it to share...  :'( )

I believe a hasty walk is the most efficient way to get around for a quest.

Running in games like SOTN bothers me because no one runs everywhere they go (they'd be exhausted) and little turn around and small movements look silly when the character burst into a full run to move 5 or 10 ft for example.

But at the same time if you had to get the fuck out of the way of a boss attack or something, or falling spike trap, you wouldn't walk. So....

Honestly cv should have a double tap to run and power walk default IMO.

Because no one on an adventure would only use one of the two.
The worst monsters are human.
