Robin Williams was not only a stand-up comedian, but he also acted in movies and did voice acting in cartoons like Disney's Aladdin. He voiced the Genie.

Many comedians do sadly, and ironically. He had an amazing career, and he did a lot of good too. He'll be missed by many.

Personally, I think this is one of my favorite bits by Robin Williams. :-)  I dunno why exactly, but it is! (I'd make the video show up, but I don't know how. :-S)

I feel like I should be crying right now, or wallowing in a movie marathon or something, but I'm not. I don't think it's really settled in just yet, but good god do I feel it. I'm one of many who's lost an irreplaceable childhood icon, but the world's lost an irreplaceable gem of a human.

Mr. Williams, you were an individual in every sense of the word, and will be missed greatly. Nanu nanu, and Godspeed, old friend.
