Has any of you ever used thing like this? My brother gave me Gamecube and since I don't have TV I need to use my PC monitor. While looking for solutions how to do that I found this thing. Basically it seems to work on Gamecube and other consoles, but I just decided to ask if anyone here has any experience with this? Does it work properly? Is the image / audio quality playable?

Basically the thing looks like this;

This looks interesting, how it works? Your monitor doesnt have a HDMI input? Because maybe someone did something like that with HDMI instead of USB.

edit: forget it, since it would have no audio this way with HDMI I think, not plugging it directly to a common monitor atleast lol

You plug it into computer's USB thing. Apparently it comes with some drivers or software and then once you plug it in. Apparently you can also use it as a capture card and record gameplay video.

E; Oooh, it's a capture card apparently : D But I guess you can use it to play games too?

yeah basically its a usb based video capture card. You CAN use it to play games but depending on how good the card is there can be a delay. I havent used one in some years but I found it pretty subpar when I played ps2 on a monitor with it. Like I said it was some years ago and it was pci based not usb so /shrug

Ebay has tons of these from $5 to like $20. That's one of the reasons I was looking these. Very affordable ;D

Yea I know there can be delay. That's why I wanted to ask here if someone had used this and can tell whether there is delay on this one or not  :D
