Hi all,

  Wel, once again sadly it's ended up with me barely being around here much.  I've dropped in a few times without being signed in.  I hope everyone's ok.  It's been a bit of a crazy year for me, between being insanely busy with my teaching work through the academic year, and then having had health issues.

I feel you Tattered. My wife and I had a child, cut to 6 weeks later with the stress of work and home I ended up developing pneumonia. Good to see you're still around though.

Oh no, Zangetsu!  I hope that you're feeling better now.  Congrats on the birth of your kid. :)

Shiroi, I did read it, it's so good, I agree! :D  My current favourite fic is Wayward Lass's Search the Darkness, which is a Netflixvania fic focusing on Vlad and Lisa in a Beauty and the Beast like tale.  It's been researched wonderfully, and is full of historical tidbits.

  With my health issue, it wasn't related to work.  I've had some health issues for years.  When changing GP earlier this year, they were the first to take me seriously and send me for tests.  Cut a long story short, I had to go for major abdominal surgery in September, which I'm currently slowly recovering from.  Aside for healing slowly, the surgery was successful.

I’ve not been able to do any stitching for a while now.  I still need to finish the one I was working on for my niece.... which is about four years overdue now... o.O
