One of mine is to have a CVDF convention actually. Get all the gang together for a face to face meet & greet, have some venders selling sweet CV & other VG & anime/Japanese related swag, possibly get a few panel guests, write vaguely threatening letters to Konami in our own blood, the well holding this dread ink drawn from our very veins being a cursed Sumerian urn baked in the piss of a virgin goat eons ago - you know, just a have a real gay old time.

I can remember when I was very young saying that I wanted to become a starship captain. Don't know why I said it. But given the way things are going here on earth, then yeah, that's a real pipe dream right there.

Say what you will about her writing but Stephanie Meyer made out like a BANDIT with the Twilight films. Her business savvy is impressive, even if almost nothing else is.

And if she can do it with writing of a quality I surpassed years ago, why can't I?

It would be pretty simple, cliched, adolescent stuff for me. I'd want to be rich enough to have a huge house with dedicated rooms to my hobbies: a basement for gaming (yes, it HAS to be a basement) featuring a glass case for the nicer stuff in my CV collection (stop laughing); a "library" for comics and any books I'd want to collect/read; a room big enough for a gym with free weights, squat rack, etc.; an arcade separate from aforementioned game room filled with games from the mid 80s to the early 90s (and a full bar!); an entertainment room to watch movies/tv/etc (and another bar!); and what the hell, might as well throw in a racquetball court too, or something.

I would just add the basement needs to be well ventilated and also have its own ensuite for gaming marathons.

The toilet should have the classic roll of toilet paper on one side while having having an adjustable arm/ cradle mechanism which can take any preferred handheld console. Of course there would be a wall mounted pump with hand sanitiser nearby so nobody could "dirty up" the classics.

I've always wanted a home movie theater. Like, with an actual 35mm projector and prints of my favorite movies. That's literally never going to happen unless all my money goes toward nothing but that, but the next best thing is having a (smaller) room dedicated to a really swanky digital projector and surround sound setup for watching Blu-rays and, eventually, 4K UHD Blu-rays.

Not sure if I'd do bolted bucket seats or just comfy couches on a self-built stand with two or more levels so a good number of friends can cram in there comfortably and see the screen. Depends on the size of the room.

I'd wanna do it in a basement, of course, with low-level lighting on the stairs and walkway like they do in actual movie theaters. And there'd be a concessions stand with candy under glass and a fountain pop machine with some o' the faves. And an antique crank cash register just because.

Doing this would require me getting a house first, so yeah, that's a pretty big hurdle.

If you Google image search "home movie theater" you get a lot of fascinating work and designs people have done. I'd doubt I'd go that lavish or if I'd have a room that large, but it's cool to peruse.
