He has been, and always shall be, our friend.

Saw it trending on Twitter, thought to myself "oh boy, gotta see why Nimoy's trending". This time it wasn't for something good. Very influential actor, brilliant human being, generally nice guy.
RIP Spock
Live Long and Prosper, that he did.

My bro told me about his passing this morning. This is the third actor of the original series cast to be lost to us... It's a real shame there's no Genesis wave to regenerate him this time 'round :'(

I heard it actually on the news first.
What a sad day this is...
All Hail Galvatron!

Lenny Nimz was one of my biggest childhood influences. I am a huge trekkie nerd and proud. I met the L-dog a few times, in '91 after he wrapped Undiscovered Country, and many years later in 2006. True proponent for the "good" in Star Trek and an all around badass actor, photographer, and humanitarian. I hope in the next ActionTrek film Sylar get's really angry and emotional in honor of him... oh wait, that's a given.

One of those famous people that I just, never really thought would die.
Strangely enough his age never crossed my mind.

Noooooo!!!!

Wait, Leonard Nimoy voiced Galvatron?

And how can you not love his song about dear ol' Bilbo?!
Leonard Nimoy - The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins [FULL VERSION] - best quality (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGF5ROpjRAU#)
But seriously...it's a real shame he's gone. He was pretty great. I hope, somehow, he's still able to live long and prosper.

Yeah it sucked. But I took comfort in his own words about his life from October. When someone at "Destination Star Trek 2014" asked him what was on his "bucket list" this was his response:
"Whoa. Not much. Not much. A bucket list suggests there are things you've not done, that you still want to do. I have a wonderful life. I have a great family. My career has been very fulfilling. I've worked all over the world. Star Trek has been very good to us and afforded us a very nice lifestyle. I get up every morning happy, ready for another day. So, my bucket list is getting up and having another day in this wonderful life." - http://www.startrek.com/article/nimoy-beams-down-to-destination-star-trek (http://www.startrek.com/article/nimoy-beams-down-to-destination-star-trek)
So he did live long, live well and prosper.

Yep in the G1 Movie (Which I still watch occasionally) and more recently, Sentinel Prime in Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

lol, so it is too. Been a while since I last saw the film. Although Glavatron/Nimoy killed poor Star Scream that didn't stop his mutant, indestructible spark from haunting the series further.
