Yeah we need programmers.  There's plenty of talent here.
We have sprite artists, musicians, many people with ideas. We really need programmers! :D

If only we could get programmers, the Dungeon could even become it's own fan-game company. Working together to create great fan-games! :D

I tried going for programming but to no avail..guess i do not have the patience for it. :'(

On the other hand,I'm getting a whole lot better at Pixel art..and it thought me quite a lot about shading. And i managed to churn out pixel art at Okay quality.

Like the SOR portrait i did as my avatar.. :P

Unfortunately, to such a thing, the only thing I could offer are story and voicework. :\

I have since lost my motivation to do any spritework, and like many others, I know near to nothing about programming...

I admired your work and dedication the first time i even considered doing any spritework man.

I started off not too good just like any other beginner.Eventually i managed..

You were the one who told me not to be a quitter remember? :)

It's a real shame knowing the person who i looked up to in the past quit.

Hah, irony for ya, dude. :P

Anyway, I'm just currently not feeling it. Lately I've been putting all my time into script-writing and video games (when I'm not worrying about school work). I've had little time to do spriting. I hope to return to it eventually, though.

Yeah we need programmers.  There's plenty of talent here.

No doubt, Jorge. Maybe for 2013 we could have a section of the forum just programmers, coding issues, etc. Even though we don't have so many programmers here now, I think by just having a section (not a thread) just for programming and programmers it would invite more programmers that are checking out Castlevania and would want to do something like that to post and hang out there.  You wouldn't believe how many video game programmers that I know at at school that actively look for artists and they really hate when they have to draw and do that kind of thing.  I also think that there should be a section just for individuals that are looking for talent or help with projects, that type of thing. It's just that I really think the forum should get a makeover for next year.  I think you should kinda make The Castlevania Forum similar to Polycount.com. Could you take my ideas into consideration for a makeover. I found a pretty good home here and I have heard a few rumblings of this site "falling off" a bit. I think it's time for a makeover. Cheers!

Let's make a Demon Castle War game!

I'm up for writing the script if I get to make Julius all cocky because he's destined to do this, but later on he realizes "oh shit if i walk into dracula's keep with that attitude I MIGHT JUST DIE"
Pfft. Like anything's ever going here

Has no one thought of using the OpenBoR Engine? You don't really need to know anything about programming to start off. Everything you need to know to get started can be learned in 1 page. http://www.caskeys.com/arc/games/openbor/wiki/index.php?title=BOR_Manual,
Wanna use more features? http://dcemulation.org/?title=OpenBORManual.
Wanna use scripts? http://www.caskeys.com/arc/games/openbor/wiki/index.php?title=Script_Introduction.
It's really easy to get started and there aren't as many limits as you've heard.
Got questions?  http://www.chronocrash.com/forum/index.php Ask away.
You've got more than enough resources here to make something spectacular. If the biggest hurdle to making a fangame is a lack of programmers... Why not give it a try, no?

Only I match up my old team work, we can do everything but unfortunately that they aren't Castlevania's big fan and also have their own business, I shouldn't bother them. I shall search for that way myself since I am not person who didn't know in scripts since I can scripted GTA and Second Life in the past. :-X
