Distorted Travesty 3: Castlevania Gate level

Hey there guys.
I am a tester and someone who participates at creating a fan game known as Distorted Travesty 3. It is the third installment in a trilogy of fangames, made by Zephyr Burst and it revolves around a some characters visiting a Computer Programm where they visit certain Video game worlds. The third installement in the series has These so called Gate Levels. These are big chapters (each of them taking about 2 hours if you don't die) that have content on one specific gaming Franchise. Gate 3 (of 6 Gates) is all about Castlevania.
Now as this game has not been released yet I want to ask you guys, what you as fans of the Castlevania Franchise think of this Gate Level. Do you like it or rather: Which aspects do you like, which ones do you dislike? What would you suggest to change for the final release? Constructive criticism is welcomed since now that it is not released yet it is very easy to change things.
Unfortunately I only have a LP of the demo Version as a source for your judgement and it is not the most skillfull Player unfortunately. But here you go:

Sorry for the many videos but these cover the entire Gate. It is not as difficult as this guy makes it look. As I said he's not very good at playing.
So yeah, I look forward to any Feedback.

That looks interesting. Although I think the CV gate stage could use some more graphic clutter in them. At the moment it  looks somewhat empty. I would recommend giving the background more tiles to help excite the visual aesthetics more. other then that I think I'll give these Distorted Travesty games a try sometime. Got a link to the first two?

Sure, here's the Website:
http://distortedtravesty.blogspot.de/
You can download each DT game there, though the first two don't have to do that much with Castlevania. You can also download the demo of the third game and play through the entire CV Gate (though you Need to finish Gate 1 (Mario) and Gate 2 (Zelda) before :P ).
Though to clarify on the Content of the third game it is not all about These so called Gate levels. Each Gate represents one chapter. There are 6 Gates, so 6 chapters that are these kind of stages, the rest takes place outside of the Gates. This overworld is structured like a Metroidvania and it also has some smaller dungeons scattered all over the place.
Yeah Gate 3 is pretty awesome though I feel it lacks something. I myself as a beta tester think that adding two more enemies might help. Also that Sky Castle (area 6) doesn't really add anything gameplay wise to the prevous Areas. What could it Feature for more variety? Maybe these flying balloon like creatures that would explode into several bullets from the original Sky Castle?
Well though the Gate itself shouldn't get that much bigger or longer, as there are other lng chapters and other Gate ´levels as well. What I do like though is the fact that the first part is a Classicvania area, whereas the second one is more of a Metroidvania styled part.  Though it is not as open worlded as Gate 5 (Metroid). In case you want to know: Gate 4 is Megaman X.
