Don't exaggerate. However, this is a very bad sign. If Putin indeed brings forces into Crimea, this a clear breach of Ukraine's sovereignty and a rude violation of the non-intervention principle. I did not think even Putin could be that assertive.
Appreciating the situation, you need to understand Crimea was, historically, a part of Russia for many centuries before the USSR broke down and the peninsula became a part of modern Ukraine. Most of its inhabitants see themselves as Russians, and Russia sees Crimea as an unjustly-taken piece of its land.

Is this going to lead to a war? Doubt it. The Ukrainians can't fight Russia. The West would be mad as hell and threaten sanctions, obviously, but would take no action. Ukraine, however, seems to be in deep shit. The nationalists would not forgive such a breach of sovereignty.

No, no. It's the third of three antichrists that brings about the third world war and he has yet to make himself known. What we see right know is Putin being a dick. He's very much a self-obsorbed monomaniac as the olympics has proven. You wanna talk about who brings about WWIII? Then you need to look towards Arabia. Here is one of Nostradamus' quatrains that first mentions him;

Out of the country of Arabia will be born a strong child of Mohammad. He will Enter Europe wearing a blue turban. He will be the terror of mankind.

It all depends on how far the United States and the EU want to push things. The Russians will defend and maybe even annex the Crimea if that's what needs to be done. They are still considered Russians. If the US/EU/NWO push back is too strong.. It could result in war. However, the United States should be aware that the fall of the Soviet Union was real only from an economic standpoint, from an ideological point of view, it may as well have never happened.

The Russian federation is strong like ox, lol. All of their military spending is done off of their official budget in that country. Nobody knows what special weapons they have developed or how much money they have spent. But they have mentioned more than a few times, that "they can match the United States" and stand ready for another total war.

Seriously though, have you ever heard stories about the contemporary Russian army? That's no Soviet Union power for you. Oh, they're strong. Have no doubt about it. But the Russians are like 13-year-old bully who could only pick on 7 year olds, i.e., the post-soviet states who hardly can keep a standard army at all.
The Russian army today is composed of good-for-nothing hooligans who couldn't get into a college, so they spend most of their time drinking and beating up younger soldiers. They probably have some new technologies in the army, but I doubt they could be nearly as specialized or advanced as the American ones. They haven't taken part in any serious conflicts since the 80's, obviously not counting Chechnya or Georgia. The army is also consumed by corruption, like the rest of Russian society.  Oh, and don't get me started about Russian society. Most of the educated young people are so sick of Putin's bullshit that they're more likely to start a revolution than join a pointless war.

Take all of that, unless you want to believe uber-patriotic government-clowns like Zhirinovsky.

Yes, i have heard and seen most of the media coverage regarding the state of the Russian federation. I agree that they have human rights violations and a record for supporting an abusive police state. But the United States is quickly building there own reputation in that regard. And the second part of what i quoted from you sounds just like the United States to me. I.E, the United States in Iraq, Afghanistan, and every other country on the list (a list of many) where we have no business at all. We move in, occupy the country in question to help "spread Denocracy" and after that's done we now own your country. If you step out of line or change your mind we will set up an overthrow of your current government, and set up snap elections until we get our way again. This usually translates into raping your country of all resources and using the population as labor for forced in corporations. This results in very cheap wages and a cheap product that can be shipped back to the states. This is United States foreign policy.

The uprising in the Ukraine was bought and paid for by the CIA. They were trained in hand to hand and anti riot police tactics at a facility before they were sent in to protest/start a small war. Just like we did with the Taliban to fight against Russia in Afghanistan. We also paid for and trained al-Qaida.

Look it up. Agenda 21...False flag...Operation Gladio These are just a few quick places to start learning the truth. We are the thugs not Russia. The reason they have not been in any major conflicts is because they are not global police like the United States/United Nations/illuminati new world order. Not conspiracy theory anymore, it's reality. It's all documented and proven.

I guess we will see how strong and scared the USA is of Russia. They just sent a number of troops into the Crimea. Bet you any amount of money you will see sanctions, harsh words and nothing more.

EDIT

Just wanted to add this. The information generated for media coverage comes with a set of political controls. Most is produced by the Brookings institute and the Harvard-Kennedy center for public leadership. AKA.. Where you go to be educated. (brainwashed) How 'well you do', is what dictates your readiness to become part of the political system in the area stated previously. Most of the media sources are owned by the same group of major corporations or their affiliates.

This just in.

The eastern half of the Ukraine supports Russia.

The rebel extremist government of Ukraine is calling for support from an international terrorist.

An official in the new government of Ukraine has threatened nuclear war against Russia if they respond to the requests for help by the entire eastern half of the country.

Need i say anything more?

As much as we may reflexively want to condemn Russia, it's important to note that a lot of the Ukrainian nationalists are not our allies.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-26398112

Look at the guy with a yellow Nazi armband patrolling the streets near the beginning. While not all of the nationalist Ukrainians, obviously, there's a very strong far-right/extremist presence among them we should be wary of before jumping too hard on Russia.

I do believe Russia's military invasion was just uncalled for, however. I'm all for self-determination, and if the Russians in the east part of Ukraine want to go back to their motherland, they should be allowed to do so. Just taking them away from Ukraine isn't the answer, though. Such a secession should be done through diplomacy and negotiation rather than force--for instance, maybe forgiving Ukraine's debts in return for Ukraine peacefully giving up the Crimea.

I think this would be an excellent option for the Ukraine. Even if they need to give up the entire eastern part of the country i would think that they should consider it a win. Especially after threatening that they can rebuild a nuclear arsenal within six months. After a comment like that, they will be lucky if the Russians don't say that they have no other option but to take the entire country, and overthrow the current regime.
